The 90's called. They want their word, "toxic",  back. Why is everyone, all the sudden, calling everything, everywhere,  toxic?

I think it's toxic to call people toxic. What is the deal here?

Actually, I find "Toxic" a very apt term for more and more people, things, events, etc. these days!  We could use more specific terms -- fetid, foul, polluted, poisonous, or such, but Toxic covers it all.

@warped I don't like it. Behavior may be toxic. It's just another way to degrade and denigrate a human being.

I also highly doubt people who tag others in this way are exactly innocent throughout their life.

I'm sorry.  This hit me and it hit me hard.

Don't be sorry!  I'm certainly not innocent, nor am I of the mindset "Hate the sin, love the sinner."  Much of it is beyond just bad behavior -- it's mindset, philosophy, indoctrination, or the psychopathy you've written about.

If the architects and perpetrators of the Evil and Deadly afflictions plaguing our world are human, they Need degrading!

@warped we may be talking about two different things. I just keep seeing this word, everywhere. Then I was talking to denamaria and she mentioned tiktok stuff she saw. It's the same bs. Training people to point at the other person and tag them as "toxic". It's very bad programming if you care to be someone who evolves in life.

Ah, TikTok.  I don't watch it, but I can imagine it's full of toxic stuff!

There's probably many different contexts for the use of this word.

It may be a way of identifying something 'evil' without using that word which then opens a more complex debate about 'what is evil'. This is an important topic with Pluto in Aquarius, because with the emphasis on collective dynamics, group thinking, and wider networks, we have a better opportunity to identify, understand and try to heal elements we might describe as evil.

It's quite commonly used when discussing energy or energetic exchanges, and describes energy that feels destructive, low vibration, negative/not positive, etc. This type of energy is tangible and more noticeable as sensitivity to energetic exchange increases.

This all points to how difficult it is to use words to describe things that aren't solid or material, we only have words and I think a lot of the common words we use are/will be failing us as we evolve. They are only ever an estimation.
