I hope people are aware of the looming longshoremen strike set for October 1.
This has devastating potential.

@allie120 Clearly, this could be different. But I remember panicking about one of these strikes, a number of years ago. Like maybe 15 years ago. A friend waved his hand and said, it will never happen.
They do have to posture like this, to negotiate, and yes, it's possible, but most likely, this is just more fear being ginned up.

@elsa Hopefully so! My husband’s company often ships things and he said they’d been having things sent by alternate methods so projects can continue.
