brooding

Recently, I told a client her husband liked to brood. Being a non-brooding person, I think it caught her off guard, like whaaat?

If you're not a brooder, you may also wonder how anyone would enjoy brooding but we do! We do!

Are you a brooder? What's the astrology?

Hoo.  My first though went to Venus Neptune Mars in Scorpio.  Took a longer look at my chart.. Saturn in 8th Aquarius, Chiron 9th Big View Pisces, wounded sense of everything!, then! Pluto Moon Virgo 3rd... thank goodness for Uranus to charge it up once in an unexpected random while.

Broody.  brooding as I speak, write this. Tears 3rd house stellium: it is helpful to express it, Thank you for raising the issue @elsa

Oh it continues! North Node 12th Cancer with Sun in Libra 4.  Broody like a hen ")  loneliness And incubation

Can someone share some examples, please? I can’t tell if it’s worrying, general unhappiness or just constant pondering?

@allie120 I would say, you mull something, deeply.  Like swirling something around in your mouth, not thinking about swallowing because you're doing what you're doing.

I am a ruminator. I think I'm a tad too jolly to be a brooder on the regular. But I can brood if I need to.

Well, I would say I do that. All my Virgo, Cap, and Aqua sun. I don’t know why, although I knew of the word, it has such a negative connotation in my mind. And I looked it up and it was all chicken and youngster-raising descriptions, followed way down below, with some thought processes.

I brood but I come up for air to see what others might have to say on it. Or I’ll see something and then brood.

So…I guess so.

Continuous thinking about something that makes you sad, or undermines a more cheery positive outlook.  Enjoying rumination even though it's unpleasant.

Brooding about a lost love for instance.  The "What could have been" 's.  An existential sulk too, I think.

As I do this and can shame myself for it, I must add for balance, I hope that it can be the broody hen process of laying a creative egg.
