I can’t believe the number of shots babies/kids get now.

I remember when the HPV shot came out and there were guilt tripping commercials about it. That was years ago. I just remember think, really?

And now I haven’t seen much or else haven’t paid attention (that’s probably it tbh) and suddenly it’s a vaccination for children my granddaughter’s age, and adults 27-45 !!!!?

wtf

Please understand if this is your choice as an adult, for anything, I respect that, despite my opinions. My opinions reflect skepticism and yes, even lack of knowledge.

I have many questions and 😒

Another question and side topic (it’s like a tree with branches): does anyone have dementia in their family (dx or not)? If so, had previous generations had it (or, at that time, stories of someone having signs)?

A long time family story from my mom (I’m talking when I was a kid), was my great grandmother, when she got very old, did some things such as once put some silverware in a vase because she thought they were flowers.

And my grandmother (her daughter) definitely had something like dementia because I saw some things she did and said. Now my mother is similar.

I wonder about myself.

Anyone else?

@allie120 Just speculating, I think it's increased slowly over the years... probably because whatever is causing it is being increased... or spread out.

They are marking Alzheimer's zones now... where it's more prevalent.

I think it's normal to test on a certain population and then.. roll it out or make alterations, then roll it out.

I see so many cognitive problems, or hear about them, I think this will soon be seen as "normal aging".  That will hasten the switch to... well, you can extrapolate.

@allie120 I see the world differently to how I perceived it 6 years ago. This blog/forum combined with my life experience, has  really opened my eyes. I think what I see now is closer to the truth, and sometimes this really blows my mind 🤯.

@hades-moon Yes…and at times I find myself confused because you know when something is “off” but you can’t quite figure it out or articulate it. There is so much information within this blog.

I also think sometimes we feel we aren’t ready for answers but clues keep popping up. I think I need to find time to disengage and be alone and quiet or at least meditatively working on a grounding task (even kneading bread). Not all day or anything. But I believe that opens up a portal in your mind to receive 👐.

I say this. I have done it in the past. So I must make the effort.

Anyway, I said all that to say I agree with you!

@allie120 yeah, I agree with requiring that quiet space and grounding activity as you suggested. It really creates a receptive vibe for our minds to receive downloads. It opens up the portal, for sure 👍.

My husband and I discuss our medical stuff, obviously.  He's got various health stuff, his heart, at this point, but he also has a nodule on his lung.  They scan every year?  There have been changes so it's thought to be benign, per the doctor.

I don't necessarily look at the actual reports.  Another lung scan, another report of no changes.  He's had another scan, yesterday and they are doing some other tests. I believe this is because something was flagged in his blood.  There is a problem and they are looking for it?  I live here and can tell you, there is a problem,  but I'm getting to my point.

The last lung scan (2023) and presumably those prior, note heart problems, in plain language.  In searching for info, this is what I've arrived at:

Cardiologists are hard to come by.  If you have a heart problem, they will test you, offer drugs, and intervene in an emergency.  But up and coming heart problems - I think they just consider them part of aging.  "Well, you getting older and your heart it slowing down..?"

As I've indicated, previously, I think a large percentage of patients (at least around here), prefer it this way. I'll say this. It explains why I routinely hear of emergency multiple bypass surgery.  It appears these things are ignored, until you're at the brink of death!

I am not saying the doctor is doing anything wrong.  I can see both sides? I am writing this because if you want to know your actual condition, read your reports yourself, for sure.

As for why I am defending the doctor - they do not offer treatment (other than drugs) for your up and coming problem, so why go into it and upset the person?  The stress, can kill them.

So the doctor sees this, puts the patient on meds... tells them stop their eating/drinking/smoking.  If the patient nods, that's the end of it... come back in six months to be looked at again.

What they don't tell you, is what they essentially know. "You will be dead in five years unless..."  You can see how that will upset a patient in this day and age.

Actually, people aren't patients anymore, they are customers and I don't mean that the way you might think. You have to PLEASE the customer, less you lose your job. So if you want pills and reassuring news, you're likely to get it.

@elsa Thus. Patients are customers.  I chose to not be one.
