The election is decided. I'm not sure people thought there would be a clear winner, overnight. So what happens now? Anyone have a clue?
I'm not talking about fear of all the horrible things we can dream up. Does anyone have ideas, with basis.
For example, I own some of this stock.
The price has been climbing nicely, but dropped today, because someone (RFK?) said they were going to make generic drugs cheaper? This company sells many generics.
What about families? Is it possible people might come together a bit? Or do you think the division be worse than ever?
Whose the scapegoat going to be? Anyone?
I ask these questions, because when I look back at saner times, I always benefitted in some way, regardless of who was elected. People think more black/white, but life's not really like that.
Also, is there anyone out there, expecting a rug pull of some kind?
What else do you want to say?
Asking again. What now?
Are they really going to clean up our food and water?
Deports tons of people?
Fire legions of government workers?
I'm skeptical.
You? I don't know if I'm stupid or what. I just find these lists of things for "day one" to be... unfathomable.
Am I in denial?
Things look good to me so far. I like the appointments.
I’m waiting and see.
I think there is a certain amount of will but also the big machine, the behemoth, that runs on its own (it is called many names), regardless of appointment.
Some rumors out there 😑
