What do we think about revenge as a concept in life and how this relates to your chart specifically?

What do we think of it if you are Christian? Do you believe sincerely 'Vengeance is mine, Saith the lord'?

Do you think there is any karma outside of this maxim that is relevant. I.e. Will the 'Lord' more likely take revenge for Christians? Is this related to prayer in any way?

Have you seen karma in your life?

If you do believe in these ideas how do you explain bad people such as authoritarian governments, and lying media outlets, that never seem to experience any backlash from their actions?

Do you ever feel that 'living well is the best revenge'? Do you think in this case that sometimes people are placed in front of you so you can take some sort of revenge, or response, or would you avoid this opportunity if it came up?

Does withdrawal satisfy you in relation to backlash for peoples actions against you?

If you don't believe in revenge where do you draw the line when a response is needed to others bad behaviour?

On thing I thought I'd add is that the Netflix series 'Bloodline' contains some interesting contemplations on this area.

Living well IS the best revenge. Anything less is toxic.

Beyond that, let go and let the law, the justice system, and God sort it out.

Quit picking fights. That's her opinion. Period.

Hardly anyone here will talk to you. Why don't you catch on?

Sometimes I will look at why someone does something. If they were drunk, mental, or just plain traumatized by something, I will forgive them and not feel the need to take vengeance against them. This doesn't mean I'll let them back into my life, though. There may still be a karmic debt that they have to 'pay' back, even though the severity of it is lessened by the fact that they were drunk, etc, etc. It is not my place to judge what they deserve, that is God's job.

I do believe in karma, literally. I have seen the karmic pan hit people in the head, and me! I was jealous of a guy's charisma once and gave him a bad grade in class in high school. We were doing a group thing where we graded each other. I gave him a C+, but he truly deserved a B+, at least. At the end of the semester a teacher gave me a bad grade on something, because I got in a verbal spat with her in class. Guess what grade I got? A C+. Yup, I sensed that it was my karmic lesson.

In my defense, I was ignored a child a lot, so I did what I did to that guy in class. But Saturn was like, "That's not an excuse." Yeah, I had to pay back my misdeed.

However, I don't believe EVERYTHING, especially the smallest details, are always karma! Sometimes you just pluck out some bad luck from the wheel of life, and it's not your fault.

As for revenge, I believe that if you're doing it out of protecting your children and/or friends, then it's not necessarily a bad thing to do. If you feel it's your calling to get revenge on someone, it may not get a universal backlash.

Calling me PC is probably the worst insult I can imagine, but I'll forgive you.

If the offense is a crime, vigilante justice just creates another crime. Victim becomes perp and victim again, of his own doing. No thanks, leave it for the law.

If the offense is open to litigation, then sue. The Justice system may not be perfect, but a great attorney can move mountains.

If the offense is social, amputate. Report, expose, but don't open yourself to being sued. Rise above. Remember, the only reason to turn the other cheek is to show the enemy that their attack hasn't even broken your stride, much less your spirit or your heart.
