I've in this for a long time and have met a lot of people. There is a gal I've known for 15 years or so...just publicly going insane. This is not politics, she is in a delusion over a public figure... wants to marry him.

I just don't know what to do.  I care for this woman but she's really off her rocker... so far off, it's stuns me.

She does not seem in danger or to be a danger... just very childlike and in love, though she's got to be near 60.  It's so sad.  She's intent and very sincere. You can see, she FEELS this.

Anyone have experience with such a thing?

Yes. We have a friend that has gone of the deep end on a theory of extraterrestrial influence on every aspect of our lives. We have worked hard to carve out a friendship without discussing this thing he adamantly believes. It is difficult.

@jana I have a friend who believe some things I think are super sus, but I let it be, because I really can't disprove the theories.

I know many others who, you just have to skirt around things as their beliefs are dear to them. I think Neptune (and Saturn) leaving Pisces will help!

She's singing into a camera, love songs, like it's real. Making "love" faces at this person.

She was in love with a public figure for ten years... a snowden type person. I can't discern, if this is the same person or someone else but it's sad to see.

She's one of those super intelligent people... who sometimes fall into, deranged.

Seems like the world that they create is better than the one they live in. Delusions of grandeur.

@bar-in-the-sky slowest descent into madness, imaginable.  I've never seen anything like it.

I don't see anything I can do, but wait.

@bar-in-the-sky  yes, she singing, akin to Mr president by Marilyn Monroe. Except she's so emotive,  she just sways and whispers a couple words, as the song plays softly in the background. This is the opposite of attention getting. It super personal, like a honeymoon night... she loves this guy, and it's sexy and perfect... and he doesn't exist.

I can't describe it. It's unreal.
