I have a friend who following a nasty divorce was obsessed with Outlander and the main character. She joined a facebook fan club.

NEXT, she was she was receiving "personal" messages from "the actor". This escalated rapidly. They were in love texting 24/7. He sent her a bottle of his scotch!

She was unable to hear my counsel and mistrust. Until they started asking for money.

She grieved this "Lost love". Her brain chemistry was Totally in.

This is a brilliant woman. Made no sense. When we were able to debrief, we chalked it up to maladaptive response to stess, and targeted.

@nona Oh man. I wish I could say something, but I just wrote about gift card scams, then bought a gift card from a scammer.  Sedna, all the way!

Sedna?  I have Sedna almost conjunct my Aries Sun and opposing Neptune natally.  Thought it was why I have anxiety in boats and bodies of water.

That "maladaptive response to stress" hits home too, though mine has run more to passive fantasyland and impulsive travel!

@warped I was talking about the myth.  Not sure about the asteroid.

Yes, many variations of the myth but none I identify with other than scary water!  I often wonder by whom and by what criteria asteroids were matched up with mythical figures.
