I left my comment on the blog post Is cheating ever justified?

I loved the advice you gave to the woman whose husband told her to fullfill her sexual needs elsewhere.

...And if you do go out there, personally I hope you get emotionally involved up to your eyeballs!...and heals you to the point where you can leave your husband and spend your life with a man willing to touch you for godsakes.

Made me laugh because it's so true. I'd dump a man who was unwilling to have sex with me. Talk about feeling undesirable!

Your hubs is right, Elsa. There are men out there who do not want to fuck a bitch. Of course, she could be bitchy cos she's horny and unable to express this. I know, cos I've been that bitch.

Oh look! I welcomed "Libra Noir" on one of those posts. Her first comment. Heart

And I agree, Namaste. It quickly gets complicated.

I have a friend with that problem. They used to have such a lively sex life, too... sad And he's doing it for spite. I would never have thought him capable...

In the Bible, St. Paul states that the wife does not authority over her body--the husband does. And VICE VERSA. He warns about not withholding from one another except for a seson (prayer and fasting) so that Satan does not tempt them through lack of self-control.

Now I understand why he said this. Withholding sex outside of say, Lent or recent motherhood or menstruation or the occasional "not tonight"....umm, that can create a problem. There is wisdom in learning to compromise and sacrifice a little bit for the sake of your partner. It makes sense.
