The answer to this question is a resounding, no. Mars in the 8th house does not make a person a sexual predator, nor does it incline them in this direction.
First, energy is neutral until directed. This is one of the most important things to understand when looking at a chart. A person with Mars in the 8th house can do anything they want with their energy. Here are some examples:
- Private investigator
- Psychotherapist
- Surgeon
- Etc.
Mars in Leo in the 8th, per your note? Mars leads. Director of film noir movies? Child psychologist? The list is endless.
Also, one in twelve people has Mars in the 8th. Is one in twelve people a sexual predator? No.
Further, you don’t need the 8th house to be a predator! Mars in every sign and house has this potential.
If I were looking some kind of signature for a sexual predator, I’d tend to focus more on the aspects, but even that won’t help! It won’t help, because predator and prey show the same aspects in their chart!
Seeing Mars in the 8th house, the only thing I would conclude, is the person has some deep drives. I would look at the rest of the chart to try to determine what they might be. Ambition for example. Drive to procreate! Drive to serve. Drive to compete.
Whatever the person wants to do, they have energy available. Mars in the 8th gives access to a deep well of power. The person will then do what they do with their… stamina!

I have Mercury retro, Venus, Mars and Pluto in a tight stellium in Libra in the 8th House with Neptune and Saturn trine each other and sextile the stellium. I feel like the Mercury retrograde ruins the capalities of this configuration.

@Anon Same! Mars conj Neptune as well here. Though it’s in Scorpio it’s like pulling teeth to get me going. I have lots of creative ideas that come to me that never see the light of day. I used to play keyboards, taught myself and wrote songs…but I’m at the age that is not as appealing now. I do love Swimming, reading, films stuff like that. Anything I can lose myself in.
