My Venus is in Capricorn conjunct my north node, in my 11th house.
I am happy with this placement/aspect as I gain much joy from music, art beauty etc. I’m grateful to be able to express myself easily and have mostly harmonious associations.
I should add that my Venus is also inconjunct Saturn. I don’t relate much to its interpretation. I think maybe being conjunct my north node, it offsets some of these potential traits.
My Venus is in exact conjunction with my South Node. It progressed into detriment in Scorpio when I was a kid where it'll be for life. Plus, being a Virgo, my sign brings Venus to it's Fall.
Overall, the more I can avoid Venus matters the better I feel. For example, indulging in food, luxury, women, leisure... I have a low tolerance for these kinds of things. For example, chocolate gives me acne, friends often turn on me, if I buy something expensive it breaks...
@draco It was interesting reading about how venus conjunct south node influences you. I’ve never read a perspective on this before. I’m sorry to read that it’s rather difficult though.
Will your progressed Venus really stay in Scorpio "for life?" Is it retrograde natally? Mine has progressed from 12° Taurus all the way to 6° Leo.
@warped Nice! IMO a fast-moving Venus through that part of the Zodiac is not a bad deal. Venus in Taurus is a GREAT start. Gemini, Cancer, Leo are all on pretty friendly terms with Venus, too. Watch out if/when your Venus hit's Virgo, that's a different story.
My Venus was in Libra when I was born. A week later it went into Scorpio for over 4 months, including a full retrograde cycle in the same sign.
My Taurus Venus is conjunct my IC, trine my Virgo Moon in 8th house, and opposite my Scorpio Saturn at MC. Perhaps this explains my sentimental attachment to treasured objects, historic houses, beautiful places, and nostalgia. The opposition may have constricted my romantic or financial destiny, but perhaps it saved me from a few more costly mistakes.
I guess I am happy with it. Its part of a stellium Sun/Mars/Venus trine Pluto. That makes me pretty consistent in expression. Straight forward, not alot cross drives. But on the everything is a curse side of the equation....nothin gonna stop that train lol. Mapping out the trip is essential lol
I'm not thrilled about the Virgo placement, but it is well aspected with no squares or oppositions. It also aspects all three outer planets. I like my quirky charm.
