A good place to start with moving the impotence surrounding the Black Moon is Carl Jung's chart ( July 26 1875 7:30 PM Kesswill Switzerland)

You can read his whole destiny just from the Black Moon conjunct the Midheaven ....

The Midheaven as the highest point the Sun reaches in the sky on the day of birth - the Black Moon as the darkest emotional content with which he has to engage. The public career - the Alchemical sacred marriage between light and dark, male and female - is all there in that one aspect in Jung's chart....

If you are having trouble with the Black Moon - pay attention to its polarity point by house and sign. It is very Plutonian and often has to undergo a significant elimination and release

My comments from the North Node thread are below.

The Black Moon is not any more dangerous than Pluto or Saturn .

Its the raw unintegrated emotive force of embodiment that draws us out of the spiritual realm and into birth. In essence – it is deep archaic unfinished emotional work.

Unlike expansive astrological influences such as the Sun and Jupiter – The Black Moon is a contractive limiting force like Saturn that grounds and empowers us. It births a previously unknown emotional energy into our expression and form.

It is also an axis – just like the Moon Nodes . The polarity point of the Black Moon is similar to the Lunar South Node and indicates an area of familiarity and competence that needs to be reworked in order to free and allow the Black Moon to express…..

The other day I read something about BML, something about how you basically have to be careful not to indulge it. Ways to overcome where also given.

Example: I have BML in the 6th house in Gemini. This is embarrassing to admit! It's not good for work, especially in a professional environment with high standards. You might butt heads with higher-ups and coworkers (guilty!) or be the office whore (not guilty). You also likely have to push yourself to go to the doctor regularly, eat your vegetables, get adequate sleep, and practice basic hygiene. (Yep. This is a daily struggle. Mild depression has followed me my whole life.)  Lilith opposes Neptune in my chart, but with a 3 degree orb, so maybe not tight enough.

Shiny Taurus had Lilith in Pisces, 2nd house. He got on people's shit lists so FAST with some of the nonsense he pulled, but I thought it was his Mercury/Neptune opposition. Or Mars square Moon.

I see BML as one's dark side. Everyone has one. (Oh, you don't? You must be perfect, huh?)

I have the Black Moon in Aries conjunct the 6 th house NN and opposite a Mercury Neptune conjunction on the 12 house Libra SN.

Literally decades of dark rage that was channeled into work. I had to be careful not to indulge it to the point of self destruction.....

The shift away from rage has slowly followed an elimination of 12 th house Piscean/ Libra notions/illusions about love and relating. Having an independent, distinct, and fluid identity gradually became more important that merging in a relationship.

I'm not sure how to interpret what you say, but it does get my curiosity! (Not for argument's sake, but just to inderstand!)

You mean people who "have seen it all" turn to Lilith for further astrological knowledge?

Sorry for being so befuddled. I found your comment interesting, but perhaps I didn't get it right?

Happy to elaborate! Smile

I took the word 'romantics' to mean those who are hopeful, upbeat and looking forward to 'fix' or have a great relationship. BML and it's legend suits the archetype, however suits the jaded. The ones who have failed at relationships over and over again, and are looking to pin the blame on a mythical obscure point/theory/figure. Smile I was only half jesting when i wrote that.

I find my own BML in Pisces in 7th explains a lot of my relationship choices and dynamics. I have a massive victim-saviour complex that turn into emotionally abusive or manipulation type situations very quickly. I have never been able to 'rule my man' or 'be my own queen' ever, and don't think will enjoy it too much if it happens. I do feel shunned and even ostracized by 'the other'.
