So, Equal house says my Pluto is in the 12th house, and Placidus says it's in the 11th. Looking at descriptions, I identify myself more with Pluto in 12th. I know there has been a lot of debate about which house system is right, and I always thought I should stick with Placidus, but this has rocked me a bit and I'm not sure. This is one planet that has different house placement, but still, I believe it could make a difference in understanding myself better
Equal is a great house system. If you already sense it's right but want to be certain, work with other people's charts and see what you find.
That's what I did for years. Koch, placidus, equal, until equal emerged as a clear winner.

I identify more with equal house placements as well. My moon could be in 10th (equal) or 11th (Placidus) and I feel the 10th is more accurate for me. Moon in the 11th doesn't sound like me at all.

I have been mulling over this for a couple of days. Like many, I learned using Placidus. I'd take the occasional peek at my chart using Equal house, but it didn't seem 'me' at all. Until I looked properly. Wow, it's like another layer, well, layers of new understanding about myself.
All of my planets have been placed a house along using Equal, but my only confusion is the MC, which is now in the 11th house - is this usual?
