During a particularly fertile time in my chart coming up, I noticed that solar arc Eris will be conjunct my natal Moon in my 10th house. I just kind of stumbled upon that transit.
I've read varying things online. It could mean love, destruction, challenges, transformation...you get the idea.
Anybody have any experience with Eris? Or the meaning of it? Anything that comes to mind?
Thanks
Bump.
I've been reading about Eris tonight. Eris is conjunct my MC (Aries, 9th) and I'm trying to understand how this expresses it's energy in my life. I found this great article:
The article offers a few different theories of Eris, some shadowy and others not so much.
Just the title of this artcle, The Discomforting Other rings true or even just Other would resonate with me. I live in a small mountainous city in a more traditional part of Brazil. I'm originally from Midwestern USA. I AM the other. I'm an alien. So, Eris conjunct the MC makes sense, right?
I think I could make a lot more sense about this if I thought about it for a bit longer and I will but for now I'm curious if anyone else has studied their own Eris.
Do any of you out there have a prominent Eris? Do you live in another country/state permanently? Can you relate to this article?
Did anything manifest in your life, Lawrence?
I thought Eris had to do with warrior energy...
I didn't think she was too bad...I read the story about her and the apple; she wasn't invited to a wedding or something, and so she threw that poisoned apple in the middle of the party saying it was for "The fairest lady in all the land" and all the women began fighting over it (because they all thought they were the fairest in the land)...
and as such, you should look at the house opposite where Eris sits (think of how she threw the apple where she was not invited) as the place of where Eris' energy manifests?
Thanks Elsa!
I see that in my natal chart Eris makes zero aspects to anything in my chart even with the huge orbs on Astro.

Thanks for the article, Shan. No, nothing has manifested yet. It's still conjunct my Moon because it moves so slow. But I've had a tough time of things. It's hard to tell if it's Saturn opposed my Moon presently and last fall, or if it's Eris causing difficulties, or both. My natal Moon is in my 10th.
Things are so stagnant. (nice knowing you Jupiter, it's been...real 😉
Eris could make sense because I feel like I'm in no man's land, almost like I don't belong here, a misfit. hahaha Even though I'm extremely popular. It's a total contradiction.
I did notice that Eris was conjunct my MC when I began the most life-changing relationship of my life. Maybe I'll meet somebody new with Eris and my Moon. Or maybe a career thing.
