Very interesting!

My moon is at 29 Pisces, my husband's moon is 29 Gemini, and my sister's moon is 29 Sagittarius.

Now I am going to have to go do some reading on this...

I don't know about "fated" per se, but I do think they take on a heightened emphasis. "Urgent" is the word that comes to mind, like a "last gasp". You have to keep in mind that, in the nativity, planets on the anaretic degree of a sign are going to (unless Rx) transiton into that next sign by secondary progression very shortly. I've had more than a few experiences with this from people I've observed on an intimate level - my family actually has a lot of planets on the 29th degree - and from what I've seen the anaretic planet definitely makes itself very well known.

I'll give you a couple of examples that come to mind: A Venus in Sadge at 29 degrees who had the consumate "bachelor" attitude, yet much wanted a commited partnership. He wanted someone to have fun with yet at the same time wanted a serious, monogomous relationship but didn't want to do the legwork needed to maintain it. Hard to suss out if the straddling the divide like this was due the anaretic influnce or the fact that Venus was also in the 10th, but the Sadge attitude was definitely there and there was also a really high "lucky" factor in this person's life, particulalrly with money.

Another one I got a really good look at was Mars on the Aries anaretic - hooo boy, was this guy Marsy! I would arguably consider this individual to be the posterboy for this planet, both in a good and bad light. The interesting thing was in noting that he was very materially driven and acquisitive (Pr. Mars into Taurus) - liked to have $, stuff, and things, yet wasn't overly attached to them at the same time. Ruler of progressed Mars was Venus in Virgo.

I definitely have seen a dual influence of both signs in play with anaretic degrees, but it seems in my opinion to be largely due to the influence of progression. That natal note of the sign it inhabits will still be there regardless, though, and the planet should not be treated as if it is in the next sign. To do this would be jumping the gun and discounting the importance of understanding the issues surrounding that planet which may need a good deal of attention.

Also: My own .02 is that I've found the above to be more of the case with planets on an anaretic than with points like the AC/MC. When it's an angle alone with no planet on it, I do not find this to be as significant and active unless, say, a transiting planet it hitting it in a big way.

I have Sun at 29 deg Aquarius and Venus at 29 deg Capricorn. I posted in one of the other anaretic threads recently when I was reading about it. I like what Alethea said and feel that could very well be the case with me: my Sun progressed to Pisces when I was I guess about a year old, and should be progressing to Aries here shortly, some 30 years later. My progressed Venus was in Aquarius for a long time (which may have much more significance then I've realized...) but is now a few degrees into Pisces. My Sun's in the 12th house and Venus in the 11th, which would have heightened the progressed placements. On the other end my Neptune is at 0 deg Capricorn, so transiting Neptune has chugged along the whole time confusing everything. It's still a degree away from my Sun.

Are y'all reading this as in a transit or in a natal chart?

I have the two anaretic degree planets in my natal chart but that means in my progressed chart they moved to the next signs almost immediately.

I have two anaretics in my natal and they are in there sign of detriment no less, I keep thinking I must have messed up really bad or more than once. I wish I could figure them out.
