I have had various experiences with gaslighters. Sorry to hear you experienced that.. The only way is to get away from them.

Been thinking about this topic a lot, and especially that gaslighters create these illusions which ensnare the trust of others, and then the hammer drops.

In the big picture, what do you all think of the idea that perhaps an entire nation of people (meaning, in this case, the U.S. but maybe others) has been gaslighted?

I wonder if people who are severely insecure do this? Gaslighting, that is.

Wow, this is such a sad post, and one that has a lot of insight into the persons self.

I have been in the distant past but don't want to talk about it as an experience. The amazing amount of fire and Pluto in seventh leads to insights into others of a subtle nature that they can easily deny - they can't deny emotionally in the moment but given the anonymity of authority. Also Aries ascendant and Mars Sun means I am very direct and someone who is more indirect can provoke and then play innocent. I collect evidence ahead of time now.

People with a therapeutic background are the worst. They know the damage they are doing and somehow have accepted the darkness inside themselves. Gemini's and Cancers commonly. I have heard it said that it is commonly therapists that have strange abusive behaviours with kids and are very quick to medicate ADHD.

My mother got something like this from a Piscean for about 12 years. Or so I understand.

However, in the way you describe it, you are talking about more of a predatory thing as in the male is the predator of the female. I often think about how little protection women have against this. In modern times they have the state but they have no biological protections against this except 'the tribe' and other men's protective instincts in a non sexual capacity... Which is one of the first mechanisms of cultural destruction that the deep state has taken a pickaxe to.

I often wonder if a lot of new age wisdom exists because of this. Spiritual magazines and stuff.

I meet girls that offer up all their energy, anxiety and there is a sexual feel to it that is 'ripe' for the taking so to speak; very quickly. Every emotion is on display. Part of why I like dancing as well is that it puts distance on this, which can be closed if someone wants to but doesn't have to.
