I was also interested in the star-alignment that will happen on Sep.23, 2017, and the Revelation 12 from Bible. This possibly means nothing, but there is a saying that such alignment won't happen again for another few thousand years.

If anything, I wish things get better for the world and for every life on the earth, after that. More love among humans and universal love unto the earth. My heart certainly cannot carry more load of heaviness in living through/seeing some of the sadness in the world.

... and yes, I wondered about the stars of Bethlehem, too. I think I also ran across some books on relaying various star-alignments with Bible, but I chose not to read too much into it, just because personally I can't handle the urge of wanting to know more of everything, then feeling 'out-of-the world' which is not a comfortable place to be. Lol.

Nevertheless, sometimes I do think there is a deeper meaning on the simple old-saying 'As above, so below'. The events happened/happening among lives on the earth, reflect what were/are going on in the cosmos... the energies in cosmos ( which are energies from stars). But energies have existence,  the energies that we can only feel at 3 dimension but invisible to our eyes, possibly will be solidly visible in another dimension. So the stars, and the Bible.

My mistake on Saturn. I just googled it again and it said no one knew about the rings until 1610. I should slow down and read all words. animated-smileys-christmas-101_gif

I've been thinking about it and I'm going to pick a comet. Who knows, it could have been a metaphor or a spin on an ancient story. Matthew was the only writer that mentions it in the Bible.

My question was why were the Wise Men looking for a star to follow in the first place? What was the backstory leading to their journey? It would fill in some of the blanks on the significance of Jesus' appearance but from another point of view. Merry Christmas, all.

Good questions. My only thought is what they saw in the sky was so significant and out of the ordinary that it jumped out at them. But, if they had the prophetic dream to go home another route then they might have had prophetic dreams about his soon to be birth. I'm guessing and assuming here so....
