I just watched a clip of 2 astrologers discussing lunar occultations, that is when Moon passes in front of a planet and covers it up completely.
This year we had two Uranus occultations - January 1st and 29th, followed week later by deadly earthquake in Turkey and just one Neptune occultation on September 1st - followed week later by deadly floods in Greece and Libya. The next Neptune occultation is on December 19th.
Interestingly enough, there was no lunar occultations of Saturn this year. We have 10 of them in 2024, plus 11 Neptune occultations! No Uranus this time.
In 2025 we have just one Neptune and two Saturn occultations at the beginning of the year and that is it.
If I wanted to play Nostradamus, I would say floods will wreak havoc next year. Dunno how Saturn fits into that picture. Leaving it here to check how it pans out few months later.

This isn't my area but mudane astrologers I read at times have stated saturn meeting Neptune will be some kind of reckoning. This makes logical sense, though the actual conjunction is in ♈
@elsa Moon in natal charts of countries is said to represent the common people. That is why the whole discussion caught my attention. I would assume any lunar occultation would reflect the mood of the masses.
2019 and 2024 with 10 or more Saturn occultations coincide with presidential elections in US. 2025 has only 2 in Jan and Feb which would be around Inauguration Day.
2020 surprisingly had no outer planet occultations but had 5 of Mars (in Feb, Mar, Aug, Sep, Oct) and 2 of Jupiter (Jan and Feb). Which would kinda fit the themes of forceful separation and inflammation. Jupiter is also big media companies and broadcasting. But I might be stretching here.
I was checking years in the past somewhat similar to 2024. The most recent one is 2017 with 11 Neptune occultations. It had no Saturn in the mix though.

Another year with similar pattern – 2008.
It also had 10 Neptune lunar occultations. It matches 2024 even better due to occultations of fixed star Antares and Beta Tauri througout the year.

Looking at the overall totals gives me a sense of alchemy at work in that particular year. I could definitely see 2019 as a Saturn dominant year, and 2022 as Uranus dominant. When I see Uranus and Neptune together (like 2023) I connect that with an awakening signature. Next year is fascinating in bringing Saturn and Neptune together in almost equal and powerful measure, 10-11. There is also their moving towards conjunction occurring, although I've forgotten the dates.. upcoming anyway. I guess we should expect a Saturn-Neptune signature to dominate next year. That can be a tricky one to get balanced. It's certainly already in our lives with their both being in Pisces, and there is an echo of the square when Saturn was in Sag. Saturn was in Sag until December 2017 if I remember right.
