Mercury retrograde has struck. 

My husband and I have the same phone models.  This week we updated the operating system.  Now some phone calls go directly to voicemail with no indication of an incoming call.  

I warned people with my phone type to not upgrade. 

Today, I did some trouble shooting.  I called the phone manufacturer and had lots of help and no solution. The problem was already on their issue tracker. I expect another update will be out soon. 

It’s sad when a smartphone’s primary function isn’t working.
