i can handle and be near snakes but i run screaming from wasps! i have mild agoraphobia, it flares up sometimes. probably afflicted i guess.

I have an intercepted 10th Virgo Saturn square 2nd Sag Neptune at a 53 minute separating orb and could write an encyclopedia of all of the things I have been severely afraid of at some point.  Heights, spiders, snakes, other peoples' thoughts about me, being manipulated, and on and on and on.  I didn't even get over the fear of expressing myself until my late teens.

About the only one that's left is being deathly afraid that I'll be forgotten by those I love.  The phobia transforms into a neurosis whereby I compulsively weigh scales ado with how much effort I am putting into a friendship or relationship compared to how others do so.  My cusped Leo/Virgo MC has a lot to do with that one being ingrained and affecting thought patterns more so than any other fears.

BTW, I hope by 'taking care of them' in regard to bf's spiders you mean coaxing them into your hand and carrying them outside :Þ  My older daughter freaks out and will scream and run away if I approach her while wielding a spider.  She also does the same thing if being followed by someone wielding a banana.  According to her, she dislikes the taste that much.

The younger one watches in apprehensive wonder (with the spider wielding, not banana wielding, that is), seemingly thinking along the lines of, 'One of these days, that'll be me...'  She loves tarantulas, frogs, turtles, and snakes especially and has the WORST luck with her own pets dying prematurely.  Latest attempt is a Calico kitten I got for her and threw out Chariklo as a name suggestion when it popped in my head, but she didn't take it and named her 'Socks'.  She actually does have white socks, unlike her sister's cat 'Mittens' who is all white...

Interestingly enough, one of the younger's strong fears is accidentally doing harm to animals and she has a 12th Cancer Saturn squared by her 9th Aries Moon and opposed by her Chiron.
