Thanks for rooting for me, dog8818! I hope all is much better with you!
I bought a duplex in the historic district of a small, quaint Florida town, moved in May. Still working on getting unpacked, hunting for vintage stuff, many projects like fencing and porch repairs, etc. Volunteering at church thrift shop around the corner, lots of fascinating new neighbors and friends at church -- the South really is so friendly and welcoming! Feels like an alternate universe, near-Paradise here -- so lushly green, love the weather and my central a/c (though my dog hates the thunderstorms and heat and gets too little exercise), starry skies and breathtaking sunsets and stunning cloud formations, and countless thrift shops with amazing finds.
So far so good -- took the lower SS at 62, got decent tenant for rental unit, may look for part-time job or something later, busy with house for now, learning to accept the pain of necessary expenses. My elderly friend in RI had a blood clot removed and is doing better so far, and I can go stay with her if needed anytime.
Thank you, God, for my countless blessings!
Well, good! When I saw that this topic was current, I came to say: I experienced Pluto conjunct my AC as a young adult; currently, living the transit by square. Seems like, doing *anything* is the key.
Very different (both Pluto to AC transits) from Pluto transit to Moon & Sun - public scapegoating, most if it by stupid people sleepwalking in their lives.
Many good wishes, to everyone going through Pluto transits. And, thank you, Warped byWH & dog8817, for reactivating this topic!

ah yes, now I remember reading on another thread that you had bought the Florida duplex but were torn between your friend and moving. I'm so glad that you feel you've made the right choice and that you're enjoying Florida! I am on a standard poodle forum on FB and there are quite a few Floridians on there. It looks like a gorgeous part of the U.S.
Here's to enjoying your retirement and some peaceful years after this difficult Pluto transit.
I had transit Pluto transit my Sag ascendent in 2007 the beginning of 2008. But, it was also conjunct my sun, mercury, and mars. Pluto also made a trine to my Uranus and a sextile to my Chiron.
My clearest memory of that time was I stopped putting up with Bullsh*t. I finally put my foot down about a lot of things that had been going on in my life as Pluto transited my 12th house. I also took more of a leadership role in a volunteer organization that I had been working with when Pluto started to come closer to the ascendant. Actually, to be honest, once Pluto crossed over my ascendant I felt an inner strength I had never felt before in my life. I've said before about this transit that the person that I was before and the person that I became afterwards are two different people.
Now that I look back on it I can see that I slowly became more of who I am supposed to be if that makes sense. My life looks completely different now than it did before that transit.
I think that maybe one way to handle this transit is to look at what aspects Pluto is making (and where Pluto is asking you to change) while conjunct the ascendant.
This transit is relevant today. I was just writing, Midara. Pluto is currently conjunct my ascendant - it's definitely life-changing.
I am about to get on the phone with a gal in the same position. I just thought I'd bring this up. Maybe people who had the transit then can talk about how they're doing now!
