In the first House in Scorpio.

How would you guys interpret this progression?

And if you have experienced prog Sun to natal Pluto, what happened?

Hi Moon,

If you are having this event in your progressed 1st house, it will affect your personality, self-esteem, how you see yourself, how you present yourself. It will reveal or expose more of you (to you). I have read that progressions tend to reflect our inner changes and not so much external events. Do you have any big-impact transits at the same time? That could trigger external events. I have read that essentially pSun on natal Pluto brings about a new life, new way of looking at things, new way of living. But because it is Pluto, it can feel like first you have to symbolically die and then rebuild yourself. This was my experience, but I had some big-impact transits at the same time, so it is hard to isolate them and speak of each separately. I will try.

2016 when pSun conjunct natal Pluto: This was the time when Uranus was conjunct my natal Jupiter in 12th and trining my natal Sun, and Saturn was in 7th house. These aspects reflect changes in relationships (not marriage, that one remained solid, but all other contracts I had with people and organization I was a part of for a long time). Someone very important in my life abused my trust and broke my heart. But the plutonian aspect would be how I experienced all this as it felt like dying (pSun on Pluto). The life I led up till that point, which was tied to this organization and those people was over. It was obvious for some time but now it was clear and very painful. I was also sick at that time and had to do a therapy, which taught me self-compassion, among other valuable things, which was quite plutonian. Reflecting back, it felt to me like dying to some unhealthy dependency on some people, to a life that was stagnant, to relationships that were not fulfilling for both parties (Saturn in 7th). It had to have ended. And I moved on to better and bigger things (Uranus trine Sun) as I went back to school.

Interestingly, in 2018 (cca now and last year) progressed Sun is now exactly conjunct progressed Pluto! I am also having Uranus opposite Uranus. I was not sure what to expect of this second pSun on Pluto (this time on pPluto), if anything at all, but I can see it was more like ending what I did not end in 2016. It completed the story – I heard the background of those people who abused my trust and what was really going on behind closed doors. It made me sick to my stomach, but it also freed me even more. I officially left the organization, cut the ties, and I am now free. It is an unsettling feeling, because I was there for so long, but I am in a better place now, although it will take some time to fully rebuild my life.

My progressed Sun and Pluto are in the 4th house, my foundation, emotional stability. The aspect did not affect my relationship w my parents or hometown, except perhaps increased awareness of impermanence, and being aware that every day I still have with them is precious. The aspect increased self-reflection and helped me see things about myself that I was unable to see before, things that kept me bound to a situation that kept me miserable and possibly got me sick as well. Pluto just broke the wall and exposed me to reality of what I really felt, what I really wanted, who I really was. It showed codependency I had w other people, all I expected them to be, which was making me so unhappy. I am now rebuilding my emotional foundation and emotional self-reliance.i

Are you having this aspect right now?

My progressed Sun hit natal Pluto when I was about 6 or 7 years old (I was born with the conjunction, basically). Around that time Mom has divorced, remarried and my birth father lost contact with us. This happened in my 10th house.

Forgot to add, one night when I was 6 years old, I sat up in bed and started snapping my fingers, easily. It’s like I developed the ability overnight. ?

Would this also apply to progressed Pluto sitting on the natal sun?

This aspect happened to me in 2018. No major events, but since that year I got into very deep soul searching. This is happening inside my 1 house. I'm still on that search... lots of past memories surfaced (transiting Pluto over the 4th natal house).
