I can't tell with all the nEPtuNe, but I like those lightning bolts.

My community garden buddy was accidentally paralyzed from his chest down during surgery to remove cancer from his spine this winter. He's older with a a slew of other health problems, so he was already at a decreased capacity last summer, and now he's pretty much down for the count. He was our trusty irrigation guy, or water bearer I guess... I'm putting together a plan to get wheelchair accessible raised beds installed, that I'm hoping he will use if he's able to get to the garden at all.

Last week I got a call out of the blue from someone else who wants to be involved with the community garden and she came to our committee meeting yesterday, along with a few other new people. She's a yoga instructor, and today I talked to a different yoga instructor who runs a community garden in the neighboring town, and we are all planning to connect to pool resources and share ideas and whatnot.

Uranus is heading for my 11H sun in Taurus, and I have a feeling I'm going to be very, very busy at the community garden this year.

Quietly observing a whole lot of assholes .... you couldn't pay me to get involved in that mess. Whatever you do folks, don't take the bait. You can see it starting to pop off.

I've had a couple of bits of shock news. One of our friends' wife has just been diagnosed with lung cancer. Big shock to him, as they were in the process of separating. And discovered my BIL'S 14yr old daughter attempted suicide. Very sad about this, she's such a sweet girl. Uranus transit my 5th.
