Mature speech. Think like a grown up. Might be hard to communicate.

I wonder if it will have a big impact on your social media presence? Facebook was launched during my Saturn in 3rd transit. My internet personality was completely developed during that time. I had to wait forever to get onto FB Smile That was back when you could only get in if you had a college email, and if your college was accepted. I went to a school with 600 undergrads so it took ages to get accepted. We used to send multiple email requests each day begging to get in.

I had a car totaled. I took tons of weekend trips, often with car/bus/train problems. They're the trips that I remember most fondly now. They really helped solidify my closest friendships.

3rd house is Siblings. I started college and stopped talking to my siblings for a few years, except at holidays. I very rarely called home and there was no FB for them because they weren't in college yet.

Neighbors - I HATED them all. I lived in dorms during this time. There were some serious communication problems with my roommates.

I studied a lot.

Think of everything Mercurial. What interests you? What mercury-type thing would you like to learn more about/improve on/experience more of in the next 2.5yrs? Make a list of goals, Saturn eats that shit up. Stick to it. Cars, internet, electronics, studying, siblings, neighbors, short trips, fun facts, writing, blogging. Get your oil changed regularly if you drive. Always keep your insurance/registration up to date.

Seems it might feel similar to Mercury in Capricorn. Can come off serious with a little more emphasis on the concrete aspects of communicating.

This is my natal Saturn.

Ironically, I delayed plugging my phone to my charger - did other things while logged on (also Saturn, in 3rd)... Posting now to remind myself to add some thoughts to everyone else's, which are great!

I also have to shift gears, here (offline).  Make some lists, get myself to where I have things waiting to be brought where they belong.  🙂

My natal Saturn is in the third as well. As my Saturn return approaches, I thought it would be good to get some outside perspective/experience. I didn't anticipate Saturn in Sagittarius to be such a hard transit and I don't want to blow my return.

Nymzie, I seriously relate to your post. Studying alot, the car stuff, even the online presence. I have read this blog for the last Saturn cycle and have only recently starting commenting/participating.

Definitely want to make mature speech a goal. This being my natal placement, communication has often been difficult for me, in certain areas. Slow and deliberate.

The idea that initiated my question was foreign languages. I know that's a ninth house subject. I have a ninth house sun opposite third house Saturn. It is easy for me to understand/learn foreign languages and communicate with people who speak ESL. However, I have never been able to make the transition from understanding to truly speaking a foreign language, or even adequate reciprocal communication. I sort of had a lightbulb moment and wondered if this was a Saturn/Sun opposition in the third/ninth issue?
