I never thought I'd say this, but I would not take astrology serious at all, unless you can truly read a chart or you're working with someone who can.
Astrology is currently taking a major screwing and being twisted into negative programming. It can cause you A LOT of harm. Case in point, the people who heard something awful from an astrologer and had it dog them for decades.
Never mind, it can turn you away from good people, make you hate yourself, prevent you from advancing (because of an aspect of transit).
I guess it's like anything else. Sugar is nice, but eat it all day and your teeth fall out.
All I'm saying, is God help you, if you take some of the astrology out there, seriously. If you think religion is bad...
How seriously do YOU take astrology?
So well put Elsa. Astrology is so deep and broad of a subject that one can only scratch the surface unless studying and practicing for years full time. I would say, at the most in student hands, that being able to be accurate looking back at a chart is a great accomplishment. Looking towards the future is a guided but blind guess because all positions and aspects can play out in a multitude of ways.
Yeah, I also do think astrology is deep and amazing.
For like 2 years I was using the wrong Ascendant because my mom confused my birth time with my sisters in a text message. I later got my original birth certificate... but I chose not to love somebody who maybe was perfect for me because at the time I thought Saturn was transiting my 5th house (really Saturn was in my 6th and Jupiter was in my 5th!). I was 31yo with no kids and I'd met a very rare single 31yo girl without kids and she loved me, but I was too superstitious because of astrology. Now I'm 37yo and still single with no kids and she's gone. That may have been my last opportunity to have a family of my own.
Still, there are some indicators that it wasn't meant to be, but it goes to show how foolish astrology can be. Definitely one of the biggest lessons I've learned in astrology is you can't predict the future; you can only make sense of the past.
