How many of you find the vertex useful, especially in synastry. My vertex is conjunct my partner's AC by two degrees. His Vertex is 14 degrees Sagittarius, my AC is 14 degrees Sag so exactly conjunct. I think this is way cool!!
Not for me, but mine is almost unaspected. 🙁 I don't find it important.
But my parents have double whammy Mars/Vertex aspects.
I'm a fan of the vertex, but only for synastry. I haven't noticed it being a player in much of anything else. 
SaD do you think the tight conjunction on both parts is important in my relationship?

I haven't had a lot of experience with vertex/Asc aspects; most of the relationships I've looked at had planets to vertex contacts. However, Dr Z thinks vertex/Asc aspects are pretty significant (and I like his explanation of the vertex the best, anyway *grins*).
I looked it up, but all that is so difficult for me to understand
