I'm curious about people's experiences with the transiting North Node (NN) conjuncting natal planets or angles (Asc, IC...) in the chart.
What are your experiences? Please let us know the natal planet or angle that the NN conjuncted, the house where the conjunction took place and what happened in your life (were the house or houses ruled by the natal planet affected?)
In my case I met my husband during my nodal return (natal NN conjunct the Asc) when transiting NN was in the 1st house, almost 3 degrees away (a separating conjunction) from my natal 1st house NN and just minutes from a conjunction to my ascendant.
I'll check this topic regularly in the next months to reply to posters.
A friend of mine recently broke out of a stifling situation at a long term workplace and got a new job with amazing pay and next step up the ladder. Tr Nnode crossed his midheaven the fortnight he was interviewing (3.5 degrees past, actually).
Though Jupiter was just a degree away from his IC in this week too. The day it was all confirmed, Chiron was exact on his natal Saturn/Mercury conjunction. It was a painful lesson, a culmination of 2 years of struggle.
I have some South Node stories but I guess they will deviate from the topic at hand.
Thanks for posting, Curl.
Wow, what a culmination for your friend. Transiting Jupiter opposite the MC probably helped a lot with the public role move yet the NN crossing the MC during those weeks of interviewing seemed to have moved him to his 'path' (one that is better in so many ways.)
Chiron conjunct his Saturn/Mercury: this culmination must be a healing experience too. I'm glad for him after the stifling old position and 2-year struggle.
I'm going to create a South Node story because I'm mega curious about that too.
I just checked...I had a negative experience with transiting North Node conjuncting my Saturn in Cancer in my 9th house. I was looking to see what the South Node was doing the days of that experience and saw that transiting NN conjuncted my natal Saturn the worst 10 days of my life...
I had a long and painful miscarriage...puff.
It makes sense looking at it from the view of traditional astrology. I won't expand on it as I don't want anyone here reading the astrology and getting all worried and read negative things in charts.
Wow, astrology does work.
North Node transiting my 9th house and weeks after I started studying (9th house) traditional astrology which actually made lots of sense to me. Saturn in the 9th is like believing in a harsh God/Goddess, like a punishing or stern figure...so finally the potential to end up studying traditional astrology (9th house - astrology -, 9th house - studies - and Saturn - traditional astrology can be a bit fatalistic/fate-based) got actualised...
And it was that loss (Saturn) that made me look for answers and study (9th) that specific field of astrology.
So sorry about your loss, CrisLondon. Its so painful to remember a dream die... 🙁 No matter the eventual gain of learning astrology, I am so, so sorry what you had to endure.
bump (hehe)
