I don't feel that Venus conjunct Mars in a natal chart is well understood.  It's brushed over for some reason.

I say this because the Sun and Moon in the same sign is given a lot of weight, even if the pair are not actually conjunct.  But the Venus Mars conjunction is flicked off when in reality a conjunction like this can dominate a chart, depending on other factors.

This is the interpretation from the Natal Report:

"You are extremely amorous and it is difficult for you to go without a romantic involvement for very long. When you are attracted to someone, you pursue them very ardently and sometimes come on too strong. Doing creative work or artistic work can also satisfy the very strong desire for love and beauty that you feel."

There is nothing wrong with this interpretation in the scheme of a report like this but there is so much more to say.

Have you ever known anyone with Venus conjunct Mars in their chart?
If so, what did you observe?

Do you have this conjunction in your natal chart?
How do you see it play?

I've recently been trying to understand someone with this conjunction in virgo. They seem a bit "selfish" to me. But perhaps what I'm see is that they have confidence in getting (mars) what they want (venus). I have felt a bit annoyed because they seem to assume they can get things easily on their own terms so don't readily make adjustments. It seems to be a blind spot for them. That can leave the other person feeling like they always have to adjust in the relationship. I wonder if mars often overpowers venus in the conjunction?

I don't know that Mars can overpower Venus, but it would certainly keep it tweaked, at all times.

Want some pushy with your love?

Not that there's not a positive expression. I'm getting this from considering my own Mars Mercury conjunction. My mouth has a sharp edge, at all times, for good or ill.  This would be similar, except we're talking about Venus.

Someone close to me has Venus/Mars conjunct in Cancer/H8, both trine Scorpio Moon/H11. This person was hard for me to pin down, hence the reason I consulted you regarding this person's chart. He and I were both very grateful for your interpretation. Although I don't recall if we zeroed in on that particular aspect.i do know he has a lot of femine energy. I think he finds that fascinating and perhaps a little daunting/confusing.

I have venus conjuct mars in sag in natal first house. I am not sure how it manifests itself, since saturn and chiron in pisces and pluto and uranus in virgo square them.  But I can be perceived very feminine and very masculine at the same time.

I have Venus and Mars conjunct as part of a stellium with the Sun and Mercury. Pushy with love doesn't even begin to describe it. That Leo love wave I wrote about? That me, all day every day. My poor Moon/Saturn boyfriend still has no idea what to do with it, even after 10 years! 😛
