I get that....my sun is never guessed correctly. Then when I tell - I get a look of shock and then they take a step back like I have a gun.... hahaha its pretty funny to watch. I think....you thought I was a mommy, cake baking, kid and dog loving nurturer for 7 years and when you find out my sun you step back?????????? WTH? If I haven't slept with your husband or plotted your murder yet>>>> I am probably not going to LOL

People with self control can be seen as intimidating. Because they have control over themselves, that means that they arent controlled by others.

Id agree with some of the others that Saturn/Cap/10th house is at play. Ive been told by several people that Im intimidating at first. Cap rising square Saturn in tenth. Sun/Pluto conj MC in the 10th, and of course Saturn is there too. Its served me at some points and put me at a disadvantage at others. I can keep away whoever I want, but often people dont take the time to peel the onion.

I hold myself to a high standard and I encourage people to hold themselves to a high one too. It doesnt have to be my standard, but I think I inadvertently push people to strive, which can feel like judgement to certain people whove never been told that they are capable of anything. I dont play into self pity, in myself or others, and that’s intimidating to some.

Nice!

I'm sure you are right about Mercury in Virgo scaring people. Growing up I don't think being smart was seen as a positive thing, in a woman.

Lol, that does sound pretty intimidating Sherry.

It's interesting quite a few who posted  in this thread have Mercury in Virgo.
