Let's talk about Mars in Cancer.
What do people with Mars in Cancer want?
How do they get it?
How do they fight?
What about sex?

The one I knew was severely passive aggressive. He wasn't all a bad person, but his shadow was showing.

He also had Mars in Cancer, in the 12th house! I had enough of his manipulative ways, due to his insecurities, and I stopped hanging out with him. He was funny as hell, but manipulation is a no, no, for me! I do wish him the best in life, but if he wants true friendship, he needs to learn to not be underhanded with people. Ha.

Civil wars, family in-fighting. Nobody wins. Everyone gets hurt. Thats why Mars is in fall in Cancer.

It’s like Mars becomes acutely aware of his enemies emotions, aware that they are human beings and not just an enemy, so he starts to feel guilty for hurting them. That’s why Mars in Cancer takes more roundabout methods of attack- primarily emotional manipulation. The impact is less obvious so Mars in Cancer feels less guilty about doing it. Because Mars is highly subjective and personal here they can also get defensive and moody over small, insignificant things and then they lash out in childish, petty ways. They start acting irrationally.

I seen people I know with this placement (and I know a lot!) having energy levels that fluctuate (Moon influence) so they have to learn to capitalise on the highs when they come. They have to learn when it’s high tide vs low tide.

The good part of this position (when the manipulation and defensiveness is worked on) is that Mars in Cancer becomes the mama wolf (the den mother) fiercely protective of that which they love with razor sharp instincts and intuition. You don’t want to mess with a mature Mars in Cancer when something they care about is threatened. The mama wolf might be soft and tender and affectionate when she’s with her babies but come too close and you’ll see the tides change real quick.

My husband is Mars in Cancer. He's all about taking care of his family. All he wants is a happy home and nothing makes him happier than spending time with our sons. He goes above and beyond for our kids and myself. He's definitely a protector.

I don't think he's passive aggressive in his fighting though which I often read about this placement.Maybe he has too much aries in his chart for that. His mars is also square pluto.

It's this ongoing discussion about what emotions and behaviours lead to which conflict and scheming as in the best way to get around this.

Appropriately condescending. Like if someone/ a group etc. is acting badly will deliver exactly the right subtly condescending and/ or logical truthful remark to put the situation in its place.
