I have a Cap stellium friend, so as seen from the outside andby the way she acts:

What do people with Mars in Capricorn want?

Control, they like to manage people

How do they get it?

Get on someone's case and relentlessly go at it until the person gives in

How do they fight?

With careful preparation & strategy

What about sex?

Dunno. This is a girlfriend, not interested in her in that way. I don't know how she handles guys. Perhaps her boyfriends need a tough mamma?

Hi all, I have Mars in Capricorn, 1st house. Thought I'd add a few points to the thread.

What do people with Mars in Capricorn want?

I'd say Mars in Capricorn want to have GOALS. They wither and die without them. If you see a Mars in Capricorn floundering, its worth talking to them about ways to create small goals (like making a to do list). They need to feel like they've succeeded at completing something.

How do they get it?

If it really matters, they might work themselves into the ground to get themselves there...and they'll feel pretty good about this too.

But if the situation relies on others, well Satsun has picked up on their other strategy...

How do they get it?

Get on someone’s case and relentlessly go at it until the person gives in

Yes, they may also harass someone until the other person runs out of steam and gives them what they want.

How do they fight?

Mars in Capricorn here definitely wants to plan, and possibly play a long game with the enemy. (I can vouch though that other aspects may result in this not happening!). Also see the point above about wearing the other person out- this is very Mars in Cap.

What about sex?

I'd advise people to make Mars in Capricorn work for it- they'll appreciate it more if you do.

Ruthlessly efficient, complete control of their emotions at all times, hard to break down, emotionally powerful, hard to fool and almost always get what they want.

As for how they fight, they find out all of your weak spots and pick you apart over a long period of time while finding success in their own life. It is an unfair placement to have, it really is.

What makes them the toughest opponents, and yes they are the toughest opponents, not the poser Mars in Scorpio who is desperate for glory and worshiped by biased modern astrologers, is the fact that they can and will outlast you. A Mars in Capricorn will take your best shot and then counter much harder while finding success in their own life. The revenge is cold, calculated, shrewd and done with full efficiency while not losing anything of their own.

If I had to picture this sign, imagine one of those many action movies where the character goes into a building full of villains and bad guys. After a lot of creativity, he sets it all on fire and then walks away cooly with a suitcase.

I think this genuinely is the strongest placement for Mars even though modern astrology will give an arm and leg, denying it all the way. Unlike a Scorpio Mars, a Capricorn Mars is efficient and can continue to battle even when exposed, they seem to have a trick up their sleeve for everything.

This is the one placement I wish I had in my chart, I'd love to have one on my team.

@callingthehypocrisy what are your thoughts about how this compares to Mars in Scorpio conjunct Saturn?

This placement just does not get any of the respect it deserves. It seems as if modern astrology, in a passive-aggressive (very Scorpionic you can say even), way is trying to undermine this placement while hyping up a Mars in Scorpio. Impartial attitudes will tell you a Mars in Capricorn makes for the most formidable of opponents and is the strongest placement, but leave it up to the insecure Scorpios to write garbage across the web undermining a Mars in Capricorn and hyping up their rather outdated watered down all bark no bite Mars.

@callingthehypocrisy 👏👏👏 kudos on telling it just how it is!!

I think 90% of astrology is biased like that towards certain water placements.. But mars in scorpio is one of the placements that get's the crown yes. The problem is that most of the interpretations and discussions are terribly outdated and have been copy-pasted and tossed around since eternity. However I think things have been changing and many younger generations have started to challenge such ideas

As someone with a mars in libra I have a deep respect for capricorn mars and a woman with this placement has been my most formidable opponent
