What house and sign is your Moon in, and how do you believe that correlates with the relationship you have with your mom?
Pluto is transiting my 4th, and bringing my tumultuous past to fruition - the reason being I needed to post this thread.
My Moon is in Taurus, in the 8th house. In the simplest terms, the exaltation allows me to overcome emotional obstacles and find pleasure in little, Venusian things. I love my mother, and our relationship has grown better with age.
As it is in the 8th house, she was neglectful when I was young. She was absent (I lived with my gram, and many other places), tried to kill herself twice, and often chose men over me. Her addictions got in the way of our relationship (Neptune in the 4th). She could be a bit sadistic, and occasionally made fun of how I looked (probably the reason I have my Venus opposite Saturn).
Because I am half black, and she is white, she used to make cruel and insensitive comments about black people to intentionally hurt me. She would say things "stupid nigger" this, and "f***ing nigger" that, when her white friends were over, than look at me with this antagonistic smile and say, "but no offense Maia." I was like, 9. I felt so embarrassed and ashamed. ?
I am really sorry for the rant, but I just didn't have any other place to get it out. Again, I am sorry guys.

Taurus Moon in 12th. Its near my ascendant but not conjuct
My mum is a generous woman who made sacrifices for her marriage
I believe she stayed for us as my dad is there but not really constant i n his support. She continues to do this. She's too much of a giver and feels its her duty to help everyone. Even stray relatives who have backstabbed her and used her in the past.
It drives me crazy. I hope it doesnt rub off on me
Saturn is squaring my 4th . So Im also having to confront some issues
I have a Capricorn moon, conjunct Neptune and Uranus, sextile Pluto, trine a whole sun-merc-jupiter-ascendant stellium in Virgo, in fifth house. It doesn't receive any hard aspects, if you discount the conjunctions. My mom is, what Elsa describes, a family matriarch, with sun, merc, Jupiter conjunct Saturn in Capricorn. I share a sun-moon dw in synastry with her. Needless to say, I'm pretty much her younger version.
I'm at the fag end of Pluto transit 4th, so I realize what you're going through. All I can say is, don't give up! Even this shit will end one day.
