I got asked for my global personal id again today.

Old lady at exercise class was telling stories today.  She was talking about not having money for rent, back in 1948.  Someone gave her the money for three months rent - she asked me to guess how much that was.

I am embarrassed of my guess.  The correct answer was nine dollars.  Rent was three dollars a month. Really puts things in perspective.
