My husband's entire special forces team was killed, save one other man. He talked to him today... I thought he was dead! Turns out, he thought my husband was dead. My husband switched phone numbers... he's never been one to keep on top of things like this. This is the man we went to FL with when they opened the SF museum.
Anyway, they were glad to talk. Their commander is also alive, just for full disclosure. The thing is, they both agree on where the country is. No debate, whatsoever. It's so rare these days. But they're both trained and they see it the same way, down the line, 100%.
Can't think of another pair like this, anywhere!
Full Cap moon was kind of awesome. My rocket scientist friend gave me a cute late birthday present. He's acting way different and I like it. It was also my highest earning night of deliveries so far. I'm going to tell him he's my lucky fish. I was just generally in a good mood. Things are not perfect, I'm still short some of my bills, I have two huge writing assignments, and my sleep schedule is jacked... but it was a decent day. And the monsoon is here and the days are a bit cooler now.
The Astro Fairy deal is such a good offering. It is amazing to talk to these people. It's just a really nice thing she does. I appreciate it, greatly.
I think there are a lot of people out there, who just need some support or a new idea or perspective. Someone to care, and she does. And I do as well.

I meant to mention, my husband's team member from Special Forces, just had back surgery. He hurt his back...well, I mean, he broke his back, jumping from a plane and landing in a tree. This is one of the stories, I hear a lot. Apparently he was up in that tree, bitching to no end.
My husband said it took four or five of them to get him down. He was about 120 feet up. He's landed on a thick branch, right across his back.
When I hear things like this, it reminds me to shut up with my bitching... about minutiae.
