Murder At The End of the World. I like the main actress who also was lead in 2022 movie, Lady Chatterly's Lover.  Murder mystery set in Iceland.  The main character, a novelist, Mercury new symbol has been searching for killer/s of missing women with her lover.  Clive Owen also in series. The lead actress of OA is Owen's character's wife.  I like the unique vibe, good dialogue.

I watched the film "Blonde" about Marilyn Monroe. It was intensely dark and harrowing, fictionalised, but I didn't quite realise that till afterwards. I thought it was an amazing film, how it's made, put together is very original. It's about her at the centre, but says so much more about a human paradigm that could create such a concept. Shades of the "Judy" movie in regards to systems and power. It's perfect for Pluto in Capricorn with Neptune in Pisces. It reminded me of David Lynch and David Cronenberrg films. The actress playing the role is very good and it's subtle but you see how Norma Jean morphed into everything and anything other people wanted or projected onto her. Neptune on her ascendant. It's a bit mind/reality bending.

@sophiab I started watching after you listed this here and I had to stop in the middle. Then I went back and watched the rest. I won't soon forget it. Hurt me to watch it. Isn't that weird? When you watch things that are meant for entertainment, and they affect you like that? I don't think I could watch it again. Thanks for the tip. It's very good. I just had a hard time with it for some reason. Glad I went back and watched the rest though.

@soup it's a hard watch because although exaggerated for effect, it touches on truths about a system we're all part of and how that system is imbalanced, has broken people, destroyed relationships, limited essential freedoms, especially the soul. We have to know these things to be able to change them, to say, no, no more.

My favourite Monroe film is The Misfits, have you seen it? Written by Arthur Miller.

@sophiab Yes. You've said it best. Her soul. Fractured in a thousand pieces. Seemed like I was watching a tortured child. I will def watch the Misfits.

'Priscilla' directed by Sofia Coppola.

I love all her work, especially 'Lost in Translation'.

I have a tendency to gravitate towards certain directors (Joe Wright 'Atonement''Hanna', Guillermo delToro 'Pan's Labyrinith' 'The Shape of Water' and Jean-Pierre Jeunet 'Amilie'...

I watch movies multiple times on repeat because I'm not a couch potato person (I don't actually have a couch, believe it or not), and I prefer to absorb art by immersion.

So I'm on the third or fourth run through of this movie in the background while I do other things until it sticks.

It's definitely a Pluto in Capricorn movie for sure. Wow.

@sk8samurai Same here. Anything by Sofia Coppola, Guellermo Del Toro, Lasse Hallstrom, David Fincher. My son loves Martin Scorcese.

Can't watch Peaky Blinders because it's blocked on Netflix for poors. Further, Netflix now thinks I'm a Spanish speaker and/or I love foreign programs.  Truly annoying.

I liked the Vikings series a lot. I was obsessed with Ragnar. He was so hot in that show. The romance/chemistry between Ragnar and Lagertha was 🔥

That was the last series I really loved and it’s been a couple years. Right now my husband and I are watching Lost. I’m sure most people have heard of it. We’re about 15 years behind most people lol
