Indiana, the southernmost part across from Louisville KY.
Ditto for me on the part about the keg parties so many years ago. Usually they were in someone's pasture with a bonfire.
Tiny little town in PA. This was our biggest building. All the houses were little. The one I grew up in was a twin and was 1200 sq. feet. I could walk to the river and see NJ. 1980s so kids were out and about a lot on foot and on bikes.

Small town and then rural Rhode Island.
Small town Kentucky. The main road started at the only funeral home, passed four churches, and ended at the graveyard. No traffic lights.
