My husband said raising boys was easy... just two emotions, happy or mad.
I was surprised, but he may be on to something.

I see quite a bit of emo with the many boys I see every day. As much as girls on average, no...but still boys with anxiety and moodiness quite present.

@jana Do you think it's always been that way? Or is this due to hormones in food; other outside causes?

Definitely more emo over the last 20 years. Food could be a factor,..hard to say without experience with kids not on the standard American diet. But it certainly could be part of it. Excellence, resilience and grit are not recognized as much as this Capricorn would like as well, lol.
