But to be honest, I wouldn't run, I'd tell him once how to treat me (and get pissed if you have to), kill him with kindness, tight jeans and a locked door on the candy store until he cleans his act up. It's a lot of work, but if you think this guy's worth it .. go for it. But listen to your gut, does he really care about you?
I liked what debdeb said. But I honestly don't think you should listen to what everyone here are saying. You seem like somebody who can appreciate a scorpio so you deserve one. You will HAVE to make up for what you did but assure you that if you prove to him that you genuinely care, you will have him where you want him, whether it be friends or partners.
The adventure of good sex and a roller coaster friendship is far from over.

If so, whoever else he ends up/has ended up with had probably disappointed him too. I think he could give her a chance to see if she's any better. If not, they'll both get good sex anyway.
