I see the Pluto transit of the 6th house but I wonder if the Saturn square to natal Virgo Pluto/Mars was the beginning of the end?

Also Jupiter in Libra....

Natally he has Gemini Mercury & Venus in 12th square that Virgo Mars/Pluto in 3rd. I guess that's the root of his troubles and was beginning to be dissolved by Neptune; but yes t-Saturn has been over it this past year.

Heart attack suggests Leo and I was surprised to see that he has a Leo moon but not surprised to see it's opposed by Saturn in Aqua. A lot of addiction stems from difficult moons and notice the current exact transits of Sag Saturn / Aries Uranus / Jupiter Libra / Aqua Venus have been hitting those.

And then on top of that the Uranus-Pluto action has been hitting his Asc-Desc axis. For all his niceness, having Capricorn on the descendant (and then Aqua in the 8H with Saturn near from the 9H) suggests he had real problems trusting other people in close relationships. I'm sure he had his inner circle but perhaps never really found the intimate relationship that a 12H Cancer sun would be seeking.

But astrology aside, I was stunned to read the headlines of his passing today.

(Edit: Just staring a bit further at his chart and noticing that it's got lots of themes of control/victims. His pluto is conjunct mars and uranus; and square mercury venus. His south node and descendent are in Capricorn. His Leo moon is opposed by Saturn - that's a lot of trying to keep everything under control. And Virgo is a bit of a control freak in its need for everything to be ordered - hence the difficulty of squares to the uncontrolled 12H.

Meanwhile his 12H Cancer Sun is almost unaspected. All it has is a sextile to Uranus so he lacks integration of his essential person plus being 12H there's a feeling of having to let everything go on around him.

Reading his obit. apparently he really struggled with depression. Looking at his chart, it becomes apparent why)

Every word.....to the top of my lungs. Just loved this gentle man. I thought he had much more up his sleeve.

I am really going to miss this man!
