Maybe not manipulative, at least not in intention... maybe more protective? Of self, of other, of the friendship? Sorry if that question was rhetorical. 

You probably right. My friend can and is very guarded, especially about matters of the heart. She only mentioned that her and I had a child together and said "maybe 5 years from now" she will say more.

Ah I see. It sounds like she’s “hoping for the best” but also guarding/prepping her heart. With her sun and moon, she might go back and forth between uber patience and just wanting to seal the deal, haha. She might be feeling out the waters of your interest (so to speak) before revealing her own. I can see how that might feel a little manipulative, but maybe not malicious? Maybe she feels invested at this point and wonders where you’re at. I’m definitely not speaking for her, of course, just articulating the vibe I get from what you’re sayin—I could be off, y’all know each other best lol. 

Both of your chart rulers are in the same Venus ruled sign (Taurus), and the rulers of both your Venus’—Jupiter and Saturn—are also in the same sign (Scorpio)! Seems like there’d be a pretty great understanding and sense of shared values between the two of you. With her Venus, she’s a deep and sensitive lover, and your Venus is serious and protective of that, and matches it with the rest of your chart. Y’all have a lot going for you.
