False Accusations Of Dog Abuse And Various Other Sundries

The soldier and I sitting in a deserted parking lot, 5 in the morning…

“Yeah, Dora was messed up,” he said. “You can’t blame the vet (for thinking she was dying). She looks like hell – she’s messed up. When I got that dog, she had mange so bad. It was so bad, most people would kill a dog with mange that bad. And she had scars… scar tissue and tits hanging down. She’d had a litter of pups and she was just in really bad shape. Who knows what she’d been through in her life. She was malnourished, a street dog and people abuse dogs like that.”

“I know.”

“Well it’s not the first time I’ve been accused of abusing a dog…”

He told me the story of when he had two dogs who would get in fights with each other. He had to break them up and got cut himself. Then he’d have to take them to the vet and get them fixed up.

“They thought you were fighting them?”

“Why do people think bad things about us all the time? They do it to both of us all the time, it’s constant and continuous?”

“Because people do do bad things. P, people do bad things all the time.”

I sighed. “I’m hopelessly naive.”

“Yeah, you are.”

“Well you and I get blamed far more often than others.”

When people are looking for someone to blame to they look around and land on you…. or the person next to you? What is your Scorpio / 8th house / Pluto situation?

  1. Generally not… I check my motives so if someone is blaming me unfairly I (usually) don’t bother to defend myself unless I think I’ve hurt them in some way. Hate hurting anyone’s feelings, even if they are an asshole and deserve a kick in the metaphorical nuts.
I still remember the gal who tried to stop my bf from dating me, telling him I was a slut. I wish, ha ha ha. I said nothing in my defense and she ruined her friendship with him in the process. Knock yourself out. I firmly believe the teaching that the truth will set you free, and if the truth is only known by me in my own mind, so be it. Can’t help it.
Scorpio Midheaven, Pluto in the 10th, Saturn in the 8th

  2. Hmm– stellium in Scorp (Sun Nep Merc), empty aries ruled 8th house, virgo pluto in the 1st.

I think I am usually seen as an innocent victim, actually. Funny story- went to CVS and asked the pharmacist about something for girl irritation. She had a kind of African accent and she asked me, while shooting a very fearsome look towards my BF who was standing in the aisle: “Let me ask you something personal–are you having rough relations??” Ha!

People assume I am always above board. Although I am, so it’s not really wrong.

  3. I have Pluto in 3rd and Mercury in Pisces in the 8th.

I get blamed for things I didn’t say or do, especially from people in my family. I’ve learned over the years that the people who accuse me of things like this generally are that way themselves and not really people I want in my life anyway. I take it less personal than I used to.

I also get a strong reaction from people who are trustworthy and honest. They usually like and trust me right away. 🙂

This came up yesterday… someone pointed out if a person is scheming, they think you are scheming. I have integrity and also think everyone else does as well.

    Ah, the hall of mirrors!

  5. I have empty 8th house (gemini) – Pluto in 10th house. I think a couple of times in my life I was unfairly blamed for something, but I can’t say it happens alot.

  6. the person next to me.
    and usually they’re right.
but even when they should see me, they don’t.

venus and sun in the eighth. with way too many aspects to one or the other. (aspects to pluto, scorpio, saturn, moon, nodes, neptune and a partridge in a pear tree.)

  7. although when i was a kid there was a seriously traumatic incident where i was falsely accused of stealing. but that wasn’t the worst of it.
the saturn return, that was 😛

  8. Me. Me, me, me.

“OMG, someone’s been spreading rumors about me! It must be that girl in the corner I don’t know who doesn’t talk to anyone!” *snort*

Pluto hits everything and sits at the bottom of my chart. Sun-Neptune makes it easy to project onto me.
