I’ve mentioned, it’s seems wise to go for deep healing before Pluto leaves Capricorn, for good, in our lifetimes. Deep commitment works well, too. Is anyone taking advantage of this?
I am going to work on my back as I outlined here: Tie Between Trauma & Pain & Illness. I had two back surgeries with Pluto in Capricorn. My goal is to heal or otherwise stabilize my back so I never have to have another one.
I will try to do this by searching my psyche for anything I might release. I also understand back pain to represent “lack of support”, so I’ll work this angle as well.
I am also working on a defined, disciplined set of exercises, focused again, on stabilizing my back. This will be a long term commitment for me.
I also want to stay, raw and real. I do not want to fall prey to the intense pressure we all endure to live another person’s truth. Pluto will be in my first house for the near twenty years. The house of self. I want to maintain my personal integrity, no matter what. Do or die.
Your turn! Have you set any goals for these last days, with Pluto in Capricorn?
Pluto is leaving my 5th house and I’ve been trying to go deep on transforming my perfectionism from maladaptive to adaptive. I can see perfectionist tendencies mostly when I try to create things, though I’m sure it affects the rest of my life. I hope that’s what you mean.
Yes!
Pluto is solidly in my 8th house. I want to clean out and curate two storage units full of my antiques and household stuff since I’m living in my millinery workshop and don’t have a house. I can use the extra $ from selling what I can and set up a sculpture studio after I empty one of the units.
I’d also like to clean up ‘space junk’ as I term it, the stuff leftover from other people’s interaction with my energy/light body over the years. I”ve been working with a flower essence called Soul Retrieval’. My dog takes it in his water bowl too so we’re healing together.
Then on a physical level I started doing a detox to get my blood pressure down (stress and anxiety plus bad eating habits) without having to take meds. And I’m skating for myself again three times a week. I want my body back.
The only thing standing in my way is that my truck is drivable but will cost more money to fix than it’s worth and it could croak at any moment. Will get money at end of Jan. This is crazy stressful.
Pluto was in my 2nd house. So much has happened, but I will say thst I’m better at handling my finances and I’m determined to leave consumer debt behind.
I’m starting a communications business and will be setting up the branding next year. Also, I want to be healthy again after a bad car accident and knee surgery.
Sk8,
“Soul retrieval” for you and your dog!! Yes. I love flower essences, peoples medicine🌱
Thank you for sharing about “soul retrieval”. I am a huge believer of flower essences. I personally started to learn and use “Yarrow Shield” from freedom flowers..i can see it shifting my perspective.

Amazing blog by the owner too
Pluto is at the 29th degree of my 1st House the real real real me is churning (molten lava) with the promise of rapid regrow once the magma moves from Capricorn to Aquarius. I’m feeling this in my gut.
I turn 77 with the up coming full moon. The healing is in the large intestines (which are the seat of “inheritance in my culture:)
I so commend your commitment to healing your back as you’re doing; me too, with my guts (and knees for the goat in me—nod to Cap!)
Same rising sign Moki! I hear you! Happy birthday in advance!
Molten lava is a perfect way to describe it. Looking forward (I think!) to Pluto in an air sign. Pluto has been squaring my Venus for ages, will its moving off that position mean I can relate again?!
Pluto moved me cross-country to a radically different world for relationships that, well: Pluto in Capricorn – died when we got here. So, isolated except for online people, I have been transformed in ways I never would have been had I stayed there.
Something deeper happened with Pluto in Cap in the first. In the beginning I had all these powerful plans. I got them, but not in the superficial way I had envisioned. My Pluto refrain was: Thy will, not my will. Somewhere along the line, my will more or less became ‘thy will’.
‘Resistance is futile’! And a waste of energy!
I relate with Pluto at 29th degree of my first house! Resistance is futile. Alignment with thy will is real. With real, period.
By ‘there’ in paragraph 3 I meant ‘where I was before I moved’
Pluto in Capricorn for me took a toll on my physical, emotional health. Pain was in the front and center. i started to find some change when pluto entered aquarius briefly – I was able to get clarity to focus on effective ways to manage myself in all areas of my life(haa!) and then bam! back to the same pain, more intense and undefinable, which has been the theme so far since 2008. Off late, i have started to work with pain as a friend in shadow..something is shifting for sure, but it’s slow and crazy.
I am a Leo sun – with Pluto in Cap, I have dealt with one of my lovely dog’s special illness needs. Losing sleep and all that, it was worth it, every day was significant. Now, in the past one year, we have a lovely senior rescue who started to live and embrace as though she belonged to this soul pack, thriving and all of a sudden, just a month back, we opted for palliative care for brain tumor that is not operable..again back to the same theme of 24/7 care with minimal sleep and excruciating anticipatory grief related to this pup…wondering if anyone has experienced pets related issues turning to life altering, spiritually churning inner reflections?
I am so looking forward for Pluto change, although I have to wait and see how that manifests for me
Yes.
My current dog who will be 10 at the end of April I met as a pup. He grew up on a farm w/ my old lady dog, 3 neighbor dogs, and other humans around all the time.
When he was 5 all that changed and it was just him & I in a tiny place with me working full time. He developed severe separation anxiety and started to destroy/break out of my house. Has been kicked out of two different doggy daycares because he also freaks out in a kennel situation, escapes chain link etc. I’ve had so many people tell me to get rid of the dog (which would be a death sentence because of these issues, deemed unadoptable).
Rather than abandon him my solution was to ramp my own business, work from home and go back to school for my master’s online.
As it turns out about a year ago my mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s so I made the right decision by him that will allow me to also care for my mom as her disease progresses.
I’m trusting the universe will find us a way for me to do student teaching in summer of ’25
Thanks for sharing this! I left my part time work around the time one of my dog’s needed a lot of care. He survived 17 years with most of his years plagued with congenital issues. My heart dog passed all of a sudden, she was just shy of 16..And now, focus is on my sweet rescue. I have never had a full time work situation although I kept doing my studies but was a full time care giver for my dogs. Interesting and glad you shared your thoughts. My reiki master told me that end of life as well as special needs situation for pets are handled only by a few and the dogs find them..
I’m wondering if getting a tooth pulled and an implant is last gasp of Pluto. I can put it off some. I can also do bridge instead of implant. I can also consult to make sure the tooth is not salvageable. Can a good endodontist save a perforated root canal? If I get it pulled should I go to oral surgeon and use anesthesia or regular dentist with mild sedation?
This is what’s up. Been dealing with dental stuff off and on since March 24. Thinking I should get it all done before Saturn moves into Aries. Etc.
Survival.
“I also want to stay, raw and real. I do not want to fall prey to the intense pressure we all endure to live another person’s truth. ”
This really struck me, as Pluto is finishing it’s transit of my (whole signs) 7th house. My way of relating died, and whatever comes next, I agree with you, Elsa, I feel the excitement of NOT living another person’s truth. Oh, the possibilities!
Tiny talk of Yarrow it grows in many dry field. It is the equivalent to the medicine that’s given to those diagnosed with Parkinson’s it has been held as the neurological healer so my guessing is it would help with dementia and Alzheimer’s as well
. It also gives one nausea if taken in too large dose same as medicine so experiment with the tiniest pinch of these flowers in one’s tea tiny talk on gut bacteria good health waistline and the backyard. I listen to a man talk one time to perfect one’s health and he said it’s critical to have 47 different fruits and vegetables in a weeks time and I thought this crazy amount can’t be for the average person then I realized spice is nice. I find the perfect meal out there to be black beans and jasmine rice (these two are actually a perfect protein and offer the same amount of iron as a meat )accompanied with steamed carrots, butternut squash, and all your favorite herbs and spices me it’s cayenne paprika, black pepper, mustard seed and Harrissa.
Here’s to a wonderful winter season offering beautiful soup and spices to keep us all in our favorite form and top of our health
I’ve been healing my back, too, with the help of a chiro. Pretty sure the issue stemmed from caring for my 89 year old father, alone, with little to no support from siblings. He passed in July. Now I have a toe that hurts, no visible reason. Hoping it will pass as Pluto goes into Aqua. Caring for my dad has really aged me, no time to care for myself. My plan is to begin working toward a healthier body as Pluto goes into my 2nd house. Your health is your wealth!
Being the sole caregiver tends to be the case in families. And it tends to be under valued and underappreciated especially in many cases by the rest of the family. it’s a sacrifice of time and energy. But you spent that extra time with your father. What a gift you gave to him.
🙂 a gift for me, too
Ah…well… going into my 5th house which is great . my creativity in general. I’m concerned that it’s going to pass over my Aquarius Saturn at 5 degrees. Want to focus on cleaning up finances which I’m doing now, preparing myself for a job change I think is coming up, and getting my health back to its robust self. preparing for my dad’s life coming to a close. He’s a healthy 89.
Capricorn Pluto in my 4th has been REALLY rough but this Virgo felt very supported too. I’m praying this Pluto transit over my natal Saturn will bring more discipline and fine tune my path but not at too great a price
Pluto is leaving my 10th. Two years ago I discovered the reason why I couldn’t hold onto any jobs or succeed in a new career field. ADHD.
I’m very bad with small details, and Pluto Rx into Capricorn hammered me with that fact recently. I’m much better than I was before the ADHD Dx, but there’s still work to be done.
On, up and out into Aquarius.
Same Elsa. I injured my back falling against something and though months ago still hurts. Need to work on upper back posture and core strength. Will be re implementing my Physical Therapy exercises. Also trying to work on trauma and shoring up and healing relationship.
