The new moon will be 19 seconds before my 3rd house cusp. This seems significant to me. I’m in the process of laying the foundation for a new business and between new moon energy and Mercury going direct soon afterwards I am confident that it’s an auspicious time.

No, it’s not too far. Keep in mind, Pluto is at 28, Neptune @ 27 – pulling your way.

I would be like standing in a room with another person. Your respective energies would interact. If you look at the new moon / the kite / the whole caboodle, it is favoring later degrees aka towards you, not away.

This is one of my coworker’s last day at work. She said she wanted to keep in touch.
Two others go for surgery on this day or the day before too. In total, we will have lost almost 10 workers within 2 weeks. So the loss is staggering.
Reporting back. Pretty exhausting day at the daycare. The coworker above actually quit a day earlier and with numerous people out for various reasons left our staffing for about 80 kids (a third maybe special needs) and majority of the management staff whose had to come in to fill also like regular staffing have no training at all to handle special needs children. We had about 11 actual regular staff to take care of these kids. One parent made the quote. “Pretty soon you’re going to be asking for volunteers to take their children home.”
Sounds stressful!
My intention is to keep my ego out of a community organizing project I’m leading. This new moon falls in my 2nd house, within 1 degree conjunction with my North Node. I hope for healthy self esteem and pride in the talents & experience I bring to this effort, rather than self aggrandizement. I want this project to succeed, and ego will ruin it.

This ? Isn’t specifically about the virgo new moon, but I notice many comments on house transits….and that pertains to my question(s)…1) does an exact transit to the exact degree of a house cusp (besides ascendent /descendent/Midheaven/IC) have any effect? 2) my natal Pluto is 27 degrees Leo, and it squares my FIFTH house 27 degree scorpio cusp WHILE Saturn in the 4th House at 17 scorpio squares my 2nd house cusp at 17 Leo.
Is there any research/astrological traditions about these type of house cusp connections? There does seem to be some correlation per my own life…very intense, challenging experiences with both romantic love, and my 2 children, etc.
1. I would say it does. The problem is the cusp vary widely, depending on which house system you use.
2. There may be material on this but I’ve not seen it. What’s typical is to look a the planet that rules the sign on a cusp, for insight into the affairs of that house.
Yes, I have found the house system one uses to be very important. I suspect it varies, and wonder if the accuracy of the system used is affected by the birth location. I was born in Seattle, which is about far north as one gets in the continental U.S., and the only house system that works has worked for my chart is the Koch system. The difference is essentially that Koch houses put my scorpio Saturn in the 4th house, and my sag moon in the fifth, while the other systems have Saturn in the fifth and the moon in the sixth.
But the only planetary placement that makes life history, transit and personality sense is Saturn in 4th (very COLD authoritarian parents, very severe childhood environment….narcissistic mother who made me her scapegoat, and my younger sister her golden child, while my military pilot father treated his family as if he was the commanding officer over military recruits. My mother also has scorpio Saturn, and I suspect she was sexually abused by her father, and repressed the memory…and was punishing me for her own subconscious bad girl feelings.) yet somehow I was innately very creative, expressive, fixated on romantic love and wanting to have children of my own…which I did with no fertility problems. that is NOT Saturn in the fifth house, moon in 6th house!
