Joseph Campbell said, “If you’re falling, dive.” I have an addendum: “Make sure the pool has water.” As we head into Friday’s full moon in Taurus, the Scorpio Sun sets up an opposition to retro Uranus in Taurus. The full moon opposition (including Uranus) aspects retro Neptune in Pisces and Pluto in Capcorn: sextiles and trines.
This culmination is a contentious shocker. That means it’s not the shocker you’d expect. With Neptune and Pluto on the line (creating connections in the circuitry), we can either tap in to powerful networking — or we can chuck out our chances to retain power by refusing to face reality. Denial is a helluva drug.
The ruler of the full moon is Venus. Venus hits Capricorn on Monday night, quincunxing Leo Mars and sextiling Scorpio Juno (both exact on Thursday). We’ve got most of the week to extract the full benefit of committing passionately to figuring out how to prime that pump (to get some water in the pool).
You don’t have to LIKE anything. You do have to work toward creating conditions you can work with (or on, or through). It’s from there that the “liking” springs.
All day Monday, Sagittarius Mercury squares retro Saturn in Neptune. Afterward, Mercury heads into eventual opposition with retro Jupiter in Gemini. The collective tendency will be to entrench thinking and attitudes (to our detriment). That is, until we go the other way and rush in like fools. SO, metering expectations and looking for higher merit in our observations will go a long, long way. Try to find the middle path for timing and communications. Balance in listening and talking is key.
Monday’s Pisces Moon squares retro Jupiter and trines the Sun. It goes on to sextile retro Uranus and conjoin retro Neptune before sextiling Pluto at the end of the sign (and from the end of the zodiac). This takes place mainly with Venus at the end of Sadge; but as Venus enters Capricorn, the Moon finishes that Pluto sextile then heads into Aries to square Venus and trine Mars.
So we have a Monday full of tearful outbursts and goodbyes, but none of them are conscious. There’s a subconscious fantasy in play, and it can appear as something else. Be aware of the emotion driving the bus (or directing the play) so as not to burn bridges. By nighttime, anything too dramatic will land like a rock.
The Mars-ruled Aries Moon, however, continues to trine Leo Mars through the night and Tuesday morning. If we’re on track with our personal goals (whatever those are for you), we’re set up to create value through our efforts. It feels good to crack on and get at it. The Aries Moon then heads into trine with Mercury — a day-long but very wide grand trine in fire. Exercise both your mind and body, and don’t leave anything on the table (don’t slack and you’ll sleep like a baby).
Wednesday morning, the Aries Moon sextiles retro Jupiter and conjoins retro Chiron. Are you sore? Hurts so good is a thing, but emotionally it can lead to overdoing things. Keep some moderation in the mix as you get a chance to fill in some unfinished business. The Moon squares Capricorn Pluto, so make sure your form is spot on.
Thursday’s early Taurus Moon squares Mars and trines Venus. Tempers may flare in frustration, but patience (steadfast desire) is the answer. Slow down and concentrate on concrete benefits in any given situation. By afternoon, the Moon heads into sextile with retro Saturn and we achieve a solid mood groove — delightful.
On Friday, the Taurus Moon spends all morning moving into opposition with the Scorpio Sun for the full moon. At the same time, it approaches conjunction with retro Uranus. Anxiety or trepidation over the unknown may color an otherwise pleasurable and measured approach to change. May I make a suggestion? Accept that it may feel a bit rocky, and embrace the unpredictable. Trust your own values to carry you through regardless of circumstances.
Friday afternoon, the Taurus full moon moves past Uranus through sextile to retro Neptune and trine to Pluto. The full moon culmination containing all your previous run-up of hard work zips open to reveal a silver lining on an inside-out reality. You have to let go of illusion to reach for the ideal, shatter the fantasy to discover the building blocks of the dream.
Into the wee hours of Saturday, the Moon moves to Mercury-ruled Gemini and an invigorating sextile to Mars. If you’re breathing, you’re living — living a life with multiple paths to a higher truth and a greater goal.
Friday’s full moon takes place at 24 degrees Taurus conjunct retro Uranus. Where does this take place in your chart?
LOL
(addendum)
😁
This will be a 5th House Full Moon conjunct my North Node, just ahead of my solar return.
I really love:
1. check the pool for water
2. Denial’s a helluva drug
3. I don’t have to like it but…
Unexpected jolt ain’t what my Cap moon prefers, yet Uranus was primed at birth to sextile my Mars-Saturn. The layered complexity of a true historic fiction sorta birthday party maybe.
What a layer cake this post
🍰. Thank You!
My Scorpio sun! It’s my solar return!
I believe the full moon for me is in my 4th house. Might be something with my elderly father. I dont know.
On my Chiron in Taurus and conjunct Algol! *Puke*
But – I have an artistic hobby to channel it through, and some time ago I began practising Emotional Freedom Therapy ( aka tapping) and it has helped A LOT during my (birthday) week, when sleepless nights were the standard.
So, bumpy ride but now we are hitting Thursday and my Solar return is at least with more green aspects than red now!
