Work With The Tense Energies Of July 2024 For The Win!

winningMost every astrologer sees the next two weeks or so, to be difficult. I see the same but I feel this energy can be captured and used to progress in leaps and bounds. I mean it! I very seriously mean this.

For example, what if you managed to break with your fear this month? I think this is possible. Here the aspects causing all the rumbling:

July 12: Venus opposite Pluto
July 15: Mars conjunct Uranus
July 21: Mercury square Uranus, Full moon in Capricorn conjunct Pluto
July 23: Sun opposite Pluto

Is that enough to kill you?

Me, neither!

Keep in mind, when you read a list like this, it omits all the “helper” aspects, coming from other transiting planets as well as your natal planets.  Sometime ago I read a comment, it’s as if the power that be, put us all in a jar and shook us, violently, like a psycho kid does with ants. But we’re not ants. So why not get your bearing and opt to animate your life from the inside, rather than reacting to what amounts to shadows on the wall, with some paper tigers thrown in, in most cases.

Start with Mars Uranus. Rather than have something done to you, why not pick up the knife and use it in your own best interest? I’m thinking about directing my own life; animating my life on my own, rather than seeing what gets done to me, then cleaning up and trying to heal.   If you have to go offroad to manage this, so what?

  • Let Venus Pluto end bad interactions?  They don’t love you?  So what? Let go!  Bye, Felicia!
  • Mercury square Uranus provide you the ability to reengineer your own mind. Or maybe someone helps you with this, but get my point:  you can use this energy, however you like.  It can be something mundane, like you have a stupid schedule.  Okay.  Switch it around!
  • Lights go up under full moons. If there’s some bastard betraying you, don’t you want to know about it? Don’t hide under the bed? Be alert and ready to look around.
  • Sun opposite Pluto, it’s common to meet a powerful “other”.  Many have no idea the personal power they’re packing, until and unless, they’re confronted with the dark side, so to speak.  If today is the day for such a thing; chances are it’s the perfect day, to eventually bring about the desired change.

I expect this next two weeks to be challenging, but I am also intending to cut through BS, like a hot knife through butter.  We’re headed into Leo season, people.  Why not show off? Why not have fun?

Here’s the song for this… about being a (Leo) child.  Before all the psy-ops gotcha, yes?

What this month ends with all the dross (Pluto) scraped from your character (Sun) so that you might shine with a level of brilliance not seen in years?  Empower yourself!

GIANT STEP OUTSIDE YOUR MIND.  Jupiter in Gemini!

Please tell me, someone besides me, sees the potential here.  Yes?

  1. I’d certainly like to try. Seems like a good opportunity to drop bad habits. During the lockdown, I was unfortunately someone that medicated with alcohol. It’s been off and on since (mostly off), sounds like a good time to switch to ‘off’ for good. I like the idea of walking away and not looking back at the harmful stuff. Just knowing the potential is there feels good and helps.

  2. I see the potential and I certainly feel it. I’m breaking up with an old version of myself every other day it seems here lately. I’m not nearly uncomfortable but stoked. Sure I crash some days but I get another jolt and I’m back. Double time. Trying to take advantage while I can. What a time.

I love this. I am also breaking up with the old version of myself.

Seems like a time to do that!

It’s back and forth, too, but I get back on the horse.

  3. I have a July 21 birthday, my Cap Moon opp my Sun. Right in there.

I was going for something you’d said in an earlier post … Though I’m paraphrasing. I’ll let Pluto hoover up the detritus of the past long while.

And I love your list in this post.

  4. That Angie Girl

I am in the middle of moving from a rental I’ve lived in for 14 years… not by choice. The owners want to remodel so they can charge more for rent, which is valid.
The new place we found is much smaller than our current 3bd house, and it’s going to cost $600 more a month. Rent in SoCal is ridiculous!
Everything is a huge hassle right now with pressure from both landlords, not to mention all everyday obstacles that just don’t seem to happen to other people🤷🏼‍♀️😂
I’m still excited about the end of the move. I think a fresh start in a new place will be great! It’s the slogging through the actual move I don’t like.
Oh, and the Mars/Uranus is in my natal 4th, and I’m on my 2nd Saturn return in Aries.🤣🤣🤣🤣

  5. I was interested in your thoughts about relocated charts and how the energies would be in different houses from those in natal charts, sometimes wildly so. Do you work with them or do you view everything exclusively through the lens of the birth chart? I know the birth chart is important but it seems logical to me that relocation probably does change some things.

      1. Google MOSES SIREGAR for relocation astrology. He’s been around a while and lives in Flagstaff Arizona not far from me.Great guy, very knowledgeable!!

  6. Absolutely. These transits are supporting most of my natal chart. I’m cleaning out my storage units to.cull and sell my ‘treasures’ because my vehicle won’t pass inspection.

Leo is my 3rd house and any transits there jack up my Taurus/Scorpio planets on a good day. (ie.- fix the truck now so you don’t lose your registration and have to ride your bike to work)

I’m more familiar with Uranus energy as I have it square my natal Sun.

This Mars/Uranus conjunction feels similar to the Uranus/Neptune conjunction on my Cap Sun in ’94

I’ve also been observing chart heavy mutibile people Gem/Virgo/Sagg losing their shit and support people. That’ll be me, thank you very much. When my Aquarius dad taught me how to drive he said, “NEVER brake for sqirrels!”

I’m keeping my Taurus people close, On your 6 my friends.

  7. I see the potential!

I’m a cap rising, I’ve been having lots of breakthroughs in my career and routines by challenging myself and looking directly in the shadow to see what’s really going on. By facing those fears I’ve been able to gain more confidence.

I’ve also been running more consistently and broke my personal record times twice in the past week.

Just making sure to stretch and take good care of my knees!

  8. I have definitely felt this. Used a recent vacation to reset. Came back having confronted the lesson of how, “seeing and hearing only what you want blinds even the most discerning,” impacts my life! Confronting fears of my own death and choosing to live. Your posts are invaluable for this!! Thank you!

  9. Thank you for this Elsa. So many people needed to read this. Especially me. I got a big introduction to Uranus around 5 years ago when I was thrown from a very comfortable place (where I was not growing) into orbit and a total life changing experience. I have Uranus square my Moon, Jupiter and Mercury natal. No stranger but being thrown across the country was quite the experience. It was so harsh at times I was losing my will. But have since been able to restore and begin to grow again. I will never be the same. How could I be?

I can’t stop fate. I can’t control what will happen to the people around me through transits that need to develop/learn. What I can do is try to see it like you have just blogged. Difficult, but let’s win this time!

    Thank you.

  10. Really love this post. Such a refreshing reminder that we are not at the mercy of “aspects” and challenging times. We ARE born with strengths and karma of our own..and self mastery, taking the bull by the horns, and self direction (FREE WILL!) are ALWAYS wonderful options!!

I tend NOT to live in fear.. and the challenges of the past few years have made me stronger, and even more grateful for Life and sunsets, oceans and birdsong..than I was before I was so challenged. I see people choose “bitter” over “gratitude” and it is just not my style.

I feel bit worn down some days, hey I’m 71 now! And sometimes I want to abandon astrology altogether and just “LIVE LIFE” but it continues to be a language I rely upon. And enjoy, to a point.

I have natal Mars/Uranus and Mars/Uranus everything else too. .so this energy is familiar. My life has not been a straight trajectory form point a to point b.I have always taken the back roads.. the bumpy roads, the scenic route…

I am in the midst of a LIFE REBOOT: New diet, changing up the wardrobe , traveling different places that I used to.. all good.AND exploring my artistic side even more deeply..

The election: OF COURSE I am concerned abotu Project 2025 and al that.. but I will not let this time in history steal my peace of mind.I am an elder and I have earned some down time. I will vote.I will educate when it is possible. And I will pray.

Thanks for ALLLLLL the work you do to inform and encourage!

  11. The astrology looks as though it should supply energy, but maybe it’s using up energy. Therapy clients are all turning up in the same state at the moment – trying to shift boulders out of the way and get from A to B, but absolutely exhausted, burnt out and forced to keep working through these situations as there are no escape routes. I feel the same right now.

Perhaps it’s like trying to loosen the lid on a jar, where something will suddenly go *pop* and the situations will have changed. Come to think of it, there was a physical example yesterday. A tap was jammed and would not budge no matter what potions I applied or how much muscle to try and turn it. In desperation, I clobbered it with a hammer, and it magically started working properly. How very Mars Uranus – haha!

  12. I have bought 15 hours worth of courses on Udemy the other day, to upskill my skills, and then, hopefully, put it to good use in my career.

In June I realized I had to leave my current field of work and start over on something diffetent, this time FOR ME, and not for others’ sake.

Yes, liberate yourself. Something gotta give. Uranus and Mars on natal Chiron (with a natal tandem to Neptune in Sag), now Pluto on the Ascendant, slowly coming un-tied… meeting and colliding with my partner (7th house/Ascendant)….. yup, pretty much textbook astrology!

If you’re not growing, you’re shrinking… I think that’s my motto for the next few days!

  13. Brilliance no seen in years;Ha chachacha, wahoo peekaboo!!
Oh girl the song , stepping outside my mind just like stepping out the door
Time to feel like love Again😘
