8th House Suns in Children

One of my kids has his Sun in the 8th house. I've noticed he sometimes attracts negative attention from other kids out of nowhere, from kids who have never even seen him before. One even threw something at him as he walked by, leaving a playground. They hadn't had any contact before that.

Is this par for the course with 8th house Suns? If you have one, what's been your experience with others' perceptions of you?

This is a really interesting question. I was an 8th house kid.  It goes without saying, 8th house types make (some) people uncomfortable. But the example you offered seems Mars-ruled to me. It's an attack.

Interesting. He's had a couple kids be aggressive towards him out of nowhere. I figured something unnerved them, because why do that if my son didn't even see them until they came after him? Whatever it may be I hope it's not some life long thing, pretty worrisome from my perspective as his mother!

He's got 3 planets in his 8th, plus Pluto on his midheaven. His Mars is pretty happy, so maybe it's something in those particular kids. I'll never know, but my Pluto-Mercury square is super curious.
