I don’t mean to sound flippant. But it made me think of it. Sometimes we don’t know how plugged in, divided, pumped up with junk we are. But of course there are people also just trying to hang on, in spite of everything beyond their control.

It makes me feel like an out-of-touch, soon-to-be cast aside, old has-been hanging into a cliff as people dance above me, occasionally stomping on my fingers. And I don’t understand what they’re saying or doing.
We are babysitting our granddaughters tomorrow, overnight. They’re still so young but there are glimpses of the only world they know vs the world we know. It’s ok now. This is the time to bond with them and show them things we do and know. One day these will merge then they will surpass us. But we want the bond to be strong, for love and to learn from each other.

I see forums being invaded by screenshots of ai conversations. Google has one going now. Besides the manipulative content, these are essentially ads. Unfortunately, I think this will be embraced because people outsourced their brains, long ago.
There is a very small percentage of people who can come up with their own ideas and views on things. We willingly turn our God given abilities over, rather than working to develop them.
I read a remark by a programmer who thinks this would likely be programmed to agree with you.
