I have Venus in Aquarius in 8th house and always found it weird placement.

I feel kinda unlucky with this, but it's hard to explain. Well, what can I say...It's not easy to  tell why Venus in Aqua is so different, but if you compare it to other placements of Venus, like Venus in Leo or Scorpio, you will know.

Venus, my chart ruler is retrograde at 29degrees Capricorn in the 9th house unaspected. I’ve had a lifetime of feeling “left out” and unloved. I often feel unattractive and cold emotionally. I feel like a desert plant that can still survive without any nourishment. my romantic relationships have been one sided and loveless. Im nearly 60 and this has always been the case unfortunately.
Neptune in the 7th doesn’t help. I’ve learned to live by myself. I love traveling and get on well with people from other cultures.

yes i am actually. for the longest time i thought it was in my 1st house before finding my birth certificate; my mom is always unsure of time of birth with her memory.  And so, it didnt make sense why i kept finding bad abusive men. i thought ok i'm broken. Plus i always had to be honest alot of the opposite sex were always very attracted to me, Meaning: i never had any problems in life with men chasing me. or having admirers.  However, i always chose the bad ones in the past.  Then i read up venus in the 12th. and bingo, I have venus in 12th and it made so much sense. I still however very much love my venus in the 12th. I can feel it's exaltation by house alone. Yet, it does have it's problems with the delusional thing.

I hate it, it's in scorpio. I would trade it for a more easy going venus placement any day. So demanding of other people and obsessive. I feel like I am going to die whenvever someone breaks my heart.

On the other hand, I love my venus aspects. It is conjunct my sun, mercury and pluto. I think I have a good taste, people always tell me I look sweet, have a pleasant voice, it also gives me some of venus's diplomacy/ tact.

I get you Sarah!  My Venus also Scorpio, mine in 4th house with Libra Sun and Mercury also 4th.  I had revelation this week that Libra Sun made my partners into my home, and Venus torqued that dynamic with a long lasting intensity.

I am really happy with my Venus placement. It is at 2 degrees Gemini, loosely conjunct my 27 Taurus descendant, and also conjunct Chiron, my North Node, and my Sun, which all loosely oppose natal Uranus. As you can imagine, there is a lot going on there, which really satisfies all of that Gemini.  It gives me some extra charm to help offset that pesky Saturn Mars in 12h Scorpio. I can ruminate on deep subjects (which I mostly keep to myself and my husband) and also be really interested in chatting about surface nothings, because I love facts, and you can find new facts in any conversation you have. I love to learn, and I like to meet new people. That doesn't mean I want them close to me, but I am happy that you can nerd out at work and lead a group by asking everyone for a fun fact. I also like a lot of colors and I like to say I have shiny object syndrome. I dabble in so many subjects. Boredom is never an issue with me.  I believe there are currently 57 tabs open on my cell phone because I either go back to them frequently or am still in the middle of research. Having Jupiter and Uranus waltz through my 6th house past my natal mercury has been a trip and I am really  excited about Jupiter in Gemini. My husband has a Gemini moon and Jupiter in Gemini so it is nice having that additional companionship. I love having a partner in life, and in fact really need it with my 12h placements and all of these hidden and open enemies. I am pretty flabbergasted about that and often need my husband to explain it to me. Most of the time I think people see me as a threat? I could go on but I think you all get the point about my Gemini stellium!
