I had a similar situation once, with a woman who was constantly doing the things to me that you just described. So I tried the "detach" idea ... put it out of my  mind. Well, she was persistent. So I walked away from associating with her. Then, she started all kinds of gossip and rumors about me, while simultaneously whining to others that she just "didn't know" why we weren't friends anymore. I didn't want to engage in this conversation with people who were well-meaning and good intentioned, and I didn't want to involve them in the circus. Finally, I just told others that I would prefer that her name not be mentioned in conversation with me. That worked a little better. Then, somewhere on this board, someone posted a ritual that you could do to remove people from your circle without harming them. It was as easy and writing their name on a piece of paper and putting it in the freezer. I did that, and now she is out of my life. I think the idea of freezing the fire is maybe a good ritual, because it  gets the "burn" out of your own mind and spirit. Another person up here posted that when you just can't forgive someone, you pray and ask God to forgive that person and release you from the whole situation. That works too.

Hope some or any of this helps you. It is a challenge, but you can meet it.

I've been down this road many times in my life.  I always remembered this saying from somewhere "if a Scorpio can't sting someone they have to sting themselves".  This is very true, for me at least.  I was always the one that suffered the most from my vengeance.  Its like poisoning yourself over a period of time.

I'm not a Scorpio Sun, but I have Moon, Saturn, Venus and Mercury in Scorpio and Venus and Mercury are square Pluto.  I know vengeance very well.  It can eat you from the inside out, if you let it.

Age has tempered my approach to dealing with vengeance, for the most part.  I finally came to the realization one day that I was just hurting myself by thinking all those negative thoughts all the time.

I remember two quotes from the Bible that helped me. “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord” and "to forgive is divine".  Every time I had my negative thoughts, I also had the counter-arguments from the Bible. 

I also like "what goes around, comes around", a proverb meaning the consequences of one's actions will have to be dealt with eventually.

Those phrases help me deal with the pain, personally.  Aside from that, I use a combination of tolerance and detachment.  If someone isn't acceptable to me, I cut them out of my life, sometimes entirely.  If I have to see them, I'm always cordial and tolerant, but avoid them as much as possible.   

I went through a period of about 10 years where I wanted to cut a bitch. Actually it was two people. The instigator was my ex who claimed when I left him he would ruin me and of course tried to do just that month after month, year after year. Then when he married the Aqua she chimed in and it was almost unbearable.

Unfortunately I played into it. It was emotionally draining. I actually HATED them both for so long that it made me physically ill. They would pitch something hateful, and I would return a tsunami that they could hardly shake...(5 planets in Scorpio will sting your ass till you're dead) I took my kids away from him and it got so bad I was going to just beat the living shit out of her (and I avoid physical confrontation at all cost)

My biological father has been worthless to me most of my life but during that time we were at least talking. He is a Pisces with a Scorpio moon and mars. He has always been a sneaky and devious man...and while he didn't help to raise me I was always afraid to tell him anyone did anything to me because he was one evil mo-fo... and I was afraid of what he might do to someone. But, he knew what was going on...and instead of doing what I thought he would do he said to me.... they are rotting your insides...and you are better than this. You have to find a way to shake it, its ruining your life.

And with that.... I actually did. I started running. I had to blow that awful energy. It was eating me up alive. I have really learned that all that crap is just a waste of time....precious time that goes by in a blink. I moved on. It was very hard for them to understand why they could no longer get a rise out of me. They even tried harder.

A life well lived is always the best revenge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now believe me when I say I still hate that useless fucking bitch for the things she did to my children...but she is a nasty hateful piece of shit and she has had a rough road to travel since those days. She ended up cheating on and screwing my ex over TWICE.... yep, the idiot married her twice. And the last time she financially ruined him (and he is loaded) .... they turned their venom on each other and took each other down.

I popped a big ol' bowl of popcorn and watched the show....and yes, I did chuckle a little .....bwhahahahah  (Scorpio does the evil you got what you had coming laugh)

Also, you wanna know how deep it runs? I have take a vow should I ever be diagnosed with something hideous and have a short time left on this planet....I am going to find her and beat her fucking ass with something on my way out!!!
