Does anyone have experience with Pluto in the 3rd natally? I'm reading up on it but seeing a lot of conflicting information. TIA!

Hi Dolce,

I have a 3rd house natal Pluto.
I have very Plutonian methods of
communication. I am very astute
at sizing people up, excellent
judge of character. I also have
much trouble being attacked for
my beliefs and communication.

My sister had this aspect and she was always like the ultimate authority in family matters.  She took control of things, like it or not.  Most times I agreed with her, but when I didn't, we fought and worked it out.  So did other family and friends.  Sometimes she was great and other times she was very bossy.

Pluto in the 3rd really affects your way of communicating.  Someone with this position is very sure of their opinion on any given subject.    They look at things deeply, but sometimes it can be too much information for some people.

Still, if you like to research things and talk to people about serious subjects, this is an excellent placement.  The sign Pluto is in and aspects to it make a big difference.

I know someone with it who has a lot of problems with her neighbours.

Also she has very strong opinions on most topics. She can be quite nervous communicating, I think this is due to other planets aspecting pluto.

What aspects does Pluto have?

This is not my chart, but 2 of my children have Pluto in their 3rd houses. One has it in a grand cross - Venus, Moon, Uranus all in hard aspect. The other has a trine and a sextile, both to outer planets.

That's really interesting about taking control of family matters. Was she the oldest?

I can definitely see the research and opinion part of this! Thank you.
